Amazingly the bags are machine washable. You just have to remember to use a wool detergent. And get this; they can even be tumble dried - on a low heat setting. Mine came out looking as good as new.
Esme has eczema and initially I was nervous in case the wool might irritate her. But my worries proved pointless. Her delicate skin is fine, probably because Merino wool is much finer than traditional wool.
