You’re 28 weeks pregnant!

Your baby
If your partner puts his ear to your tummy, he may hear your baby's heart. Her lungs can breathe air although she'd still have difficulty if born now. If your baby was born now, her chance of survival would be up to 95%. She's around 32cm long.
:: Life before birth
You
You may experience indigestion as your womb pushes up. Your bump may itch as it swells. Find out more about the side effects of pregnancy. Also:
- Let your midwife know if itching is severe as it may be a sign of a rare, but harmful liver condition.
- Get your partner to give you a massage.
- Eat slowly, often and little to prevent digestive upset.
