You’re 27 weeks pregnant!

Make sure you are drinking lots of fluids - and grab a seat when you travel on busy buses or trains. Don’t be shy: push your stomach out on public transport so no one can ignore your bump, and ask others to give up their seat if you need it.

Although he's quite thin, space in your womb is getting tight, so you’ll probably feel him turning. His eyes are fully developed, so he can open his eyelids, and he's building up his immunity, which will be boosted by breast-feeding. If he were born now, he’d have a good chance of survival.

As your baby grows it becomes harder for your lungs to expand fully, so you may feel breathless at times. Keep your back straight when sitting or standing - it will maximise your breathing capacity and protect your back. Always carry a drink so you stay hydrated, too.
