New Bugaboo Donkey pushchair
New Bugaboo Donkey pushchair

Last month Babyexpert were invited to the unveiling of Bugaboo's latest pushchair in Amsterdam.

The Donkey is Bugaboo's latest addition to its hugely popular range and is designed to offer parents the chance to invest in one pushchair that converts from a single to a double, ready for when twins, or another baby arrives.

The new Donkey cleverly expands out from a single, mono pushchair (pictured here with storage basket) to a duo, side-by-side pushchair that's perfect for twins or a baby and toddler combo. The smart design means it's still narrow enough to fit through standard doorways. There are options to add a carrycot, car seat or just use the seat unit, and these can all be doubled up, or combined, for twins or a toddler and newborn baby. The initial cost includes a chassis, seat unit and the roomy storage basket pictured. You can see a demo and take a Donkey for a test 'push' exclusively in John Lewis stores nationwide from the end of April. It costs from £899, and you can read and see more at bugaboo.com
