Pregnant belly

A: It varies for every mum-to-be, but you can expect to feel your first kick between 16 and 22 weeks.

It may feel like fluttering, or even trapped wind.

Monitor your baby's movements from 24 weeks so you know what's normal for him. Call your midwife or hospital if you're worried about a lack of movement.

To start with it feels like little flutters - kinda like you have gas moving around your tummy.  Then it feels like bumps in your tummy as baby gets big enough that you can feel the headbuts or ig wriggles.  Later it gets more localised as baby gets big enough for you to feel individual legs or arms moving x
