Today marks the official launch of the high-octane ‘Rattles to Riches' feature which will give budding entrepreneurs an exclusive opportunity to showcase their ideas to a ‘Dragons' Den-style panel at the Baby Show for Trade, including a celebrity mum or dad and major nursery buyers.
Jenny Burrows, the Baby Show for Trade's Features Director, is putting out a call to all budding entrepreneurs or a start-up company with an idea in production, looking to take the next step.
Already, confirmed panellists are Harriet Blanchet, Buying Director, JoJo Maman Bebe, Nick Cooper, Baby Accessories and Nursery Buyer at Asda, Louise Skitt, Buyer of Seasonal, Gift, Toys and Collectables at QVC, James Leeson, Buying Director at Amazon and entrepreneur Annabel Karmel.
This fabulous new competition offers the opportunity to put ideas in front of the high-profile industry personnel attending the event, who would otherwise be very difficult to access, and to have a chance at the ultimate prize: a one-to-one with a major buyer who might decide to put the winning product into their stores.
PLUS - the panel will select a winner from each day of the show. EACH day's winner will be awarded a FREE 6sqm exhibition stand at the Baby Show for Trade 2011, plus valuable pre-event publicity.
