Anyone had jabs yet?

Marley has he's first jabs a week tomoz. Not looking forward to them because how chilled an relaxed a baby he is. Altho when he had his heal prick at 5days he properly manned up an didnt make a huge fuss he was more annoyed about havin to lay on his belly. Defo leavin OH & DD at home because they'd only flapp it lol

During the warmer weather - feeding and other bits

I think a child/baby based sunscreen is fine I used one on isobel from day 1 as she's an august baby and nvr had any probs. I'm fair skinned an red head so burn easily so wouldnt even chance not putting any on marley or isobel even though they are both unlike me when it comes to skin. I'd feel so guilty if either of them burnt

Teething?

Marley is 8wks on tues an he was exactly the same on wednesdays also flush irritable wouldnt sleep hand in mouth n that. Nothin could settle him started again yesterday and i gave him a oz of cool boiled water an it sorted him right out he was just thirsty. See if a little drink sorts her out

I'd phone the police anyway to tell/show them what he's said an they can ivestage it an surely put an injunction on him I wouldnt stand for that x

Marley is also bottle fed, I havent given him any water yet but thinking about it now he could've been thirsty when he was whinging earlier.

Ive bought a fator 50 sun screen for the kids you spray it on and its green an then it fades when u rub it in. Quiet good.

I havent got a parsole for marleys pushchair yet either as i find u constantly r moving it side to side. He's lathered in sunscreen tho

Me & My little man are doing really well.

Marley is 7wk am not looking forward to his jabs he is so good at night he goes down about 9ish an manage to sleep between 7-8 hours this morning he woke up for a feed at 6 then went back down till 9. He feeds between 4-5oz every 3hours.

Am looking forward to getting him weighted on tues I'm guessing his about 10lbs now his scary how fast they grow. It didnt seem to go this quickly with Isobel.

Still yet to book my 6wk check must do it next wk before i leave it do late and end up forgetting x

As much as I love my litle man an loved being pregnant. I really wanna enjoy him, get my body back and enjoy my family as a foursome before I think about anymore tbh I dont even think i'll consider another one until Marley is 3 theres so much I want to do in the mean time. Plus with Isobel startin school in september I want to be there as much as possible to help her with the change of 3 mornings in playgroup to 5 days at school (am so so scared for her :-/) x

Should hr be smiling yet?

Hey My little man was born 1st March too and he started smiling last week. Also started to find his voice too an cooing. You gotta remember all babies do thinks at different stages you might find the other ppls babys have wind rather there properly holding a smile I wouldnt worry to much. x

Hate my doctors surgery!

My little man is the same he gets quiet chesty and coughs really hard and it sometimes chocks I told my HV an she told me just to give him a bottle of water after a feed. It's not pleasent experience and has scared me a few times

Immunusations - horrible!

I imagine I'll receive marleys appointment in the next week or so. He was such a good boy when he had his heal prick test it didnt even bother him. I'm just hope it dont upset him to much. I'll have a bottle at the ready to comfort him I think
