Forgot I mention that you shouldn't need to hold it up to the light to see the line.

The line should have some colour

HELP! Losing my mind over BFP or evaps...

Hi

As frustrating as it is the CBD tests are slightly less sensitive for a reason. It is to be as sure as possible and to avoid the odd chemical pregnancy.

It is a nightmare in the two week wait but the truth is if you really ate pregnant you wwill know. I didn't get a bfp until 15dpo and that is quite early really.  You can save lots of cash too by waiting for af and then testing. when you test early the chances are that if its negative you would say its too early and do another one when af is due.

Why do we do it to ourselves???

having said all this I am sure I will be obsessing just the same in a few months.

For your own sanity see if you can have a break from testing. That way you can afford the slightly more reliable tests too.

Best of luck xxx

To avoid the risk of ac I'd your periods are really irregular or long or you are not ovulating then other safest way is to do ac for a ccouple months straight through and don't try for that period.

When I took AC I stoppethe hen I got the period before we were going to try. We fell that month.

I personally wouldn't take it whilst actively ttc. I see it as a way to prepare. X

Hi

I had mild endometriosis and was treated with three surgeries and a 9 month course of zoladex.

Mine was pain related rather than fertility issues.

endo in itself should not cause any issues. You may find a little pulling as your womb stretched from lap adhesions but I think to some extent the feeling is normal.

My advice would be to enjoy the pregnancy and not worry. Enjoy not having sodding periods!

my son is now 21 months old so all good. Xx

Just wanted to say ggood luck. Take it a day at a time xx

What was it that made you finally decide to go for it?

Thanks ladies.

what you say really rings a bell.

Spoke to a friend today who also pointed out that life an still throw wobblers at you such as illness and sad news and that mid these unpredictable things were to happen or change that it might delay things and then you'd never get around to itho

I think that puts things into perspective for me. You spend ages thinking why you shouldn't now and don't think about why now could be a better time than in a yeat or two when something may take the decision from you. I don't know say a redundancy, death in the family or a hundred other things.

I guess it shows now could be the isn't time after all x

good luck ttc xx

How long to ttc number 2?

Posted: 17/06/2013 at 10:56

Hi Ladies,

Just wondering how long it took you to conceive number 2?  Especially compared to your first.

First time I was off the pill for 6 months then we ttc and conceived in the first month without condoms.  But due to being tired from ym toddler etc and being a little older I am wondering if it would take longer in general.  I know we are all different.

I really don't think we will be so lucky second time but equally wouldn't want to staet ttc too early and end up regretting it.  If only we knew...

Antihistamines whilst pregnant?

Posted: 17/06/2013 at 10:41

Hi,

I was prescribed piriton to help me sleep as I had intrhepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP/OC).

I also had a rash which is not the norm and it took my rash down.  Didn't help the itch but it did make me drowsy!

In fact I am not sure being a clumsy pregnant lady you need any extra drowsiness!

I think avoid it if you can but it is surely not good for baby if you are suffering unnecessarily.
