Hi,

Cant really add much to the other posts, I bfed my id twins for 8 months but they were my first. I went on to have 2 other children very quickly and ended up with 4 under 3years old and i promise, the idea of it is worse than the reality, its amazing how it all slot in.

take care

has anyone had another baby soon after a section?

Hi

Ive done a lot of research, both before and after i chose to ttc.

There is a higher chance of scar rupture if you fall pregnant within the first 6 weeks of a section, however after this point the chance of scar rupture is the same whether you wait 2 months or 2years. (I do have references but im not on my computer) However the risks of scar rupture are still relativily small, you are statistically more likely to have gestational diabetes, pre eclampsia.

There is more and more research being done but now in some european countries vba2c is becoming the norm. a lot of medics still quote the time which was recommended before lower section c-sections were performed.

However i also think that 9months is a good length of time to wait however i didnt take my own advice.

My views on close gaps between sections still hasnt changed even tho i did rupture, i realise im one of the tiny minortiy.

Hi

see yet again you are thinking of others, thank you for posting my link but please use all your energy for you.

My friend has used a kari-me sling and has her little one facing out whilst she is sitting down (she isnt in a wheelchair tho) if you have a look at http://www.kari-me.com/ it shows the forward facing hold and how dylan could have his legs out so he is sat on your lap, if that makes any sense.

They are quite expensive but if you would like to try it i am happy to post you mine, it was Teds so i understand if you are not comfortable with that but if you want it its yours. I have very happy memories of carrying Ted in it. Ive left a donation so you should have my email address if not i will activate it on here.

much love

im sorry to be bleak but please think about waiting a year. They used to recommend sterilisation only after the youngest was a year old as the risks of them dying drop considerably. I was told this when i agreed to sterilisation. As neither of you seems 100% could you use something else for a while, its such a massive thing.

(i will look out for my old post on sterilisation i was so blazee about it all, sorry i dont mean to offend/worry you)

New here, hello
