Which pump for pram tyres?

Posted: 01/11/2011 at 15:06
Hi i have the out n about nipper buggy and one of the tyres has gone flat. I tried a football pump which didn't fit. The buggy pumps i've seen online cost ??9 which seems a bit costly if a normal bike pump will do the same job.

Just wondered what others with buggys with tyres use to pump them up, before i splash out on the expensive one

Many thanks

Where is everyone?

I still check these forums too but its very quiet which is a shame because DIM was a nice active forum.
Some ladies talk on the facebook group. Its a secret group so can't be searched for. One of the admins from the group can add you. Charleymoo added me i'm sure she wouldn't mind adding you if you wanted. x

where we are now

Hi siandonna

I also love the name Henry thats what i wanted to call Owen but my OH said no .

Owen is my 3rd baby also, he was 4 months 9 days ago and now weighs 14lb 7. He isn't quite ready for weaning yet either, we're still breast feeding too.
He's a really contented, happy and smiley baby by day but doesn't like to sleep at night, we're working on it though.

Only seems like 5 mins ago we were all waiting for our babies and some of us overdue and fed up, time goes to fast!

Good luck Alfie222 hope all goes well x

Anyone had shingles in this or a previous pregnancy?

Posted: 16/07/2011 at 16:44
Hi
My friend had shingles during her pregnancy and her and her baby were fine, he is now a healthy 2 year old.

As far as i know shingles is normally mild and there shouldn't be any risk to your baby, as you have already had the chicken pox virus you are immune to it so will pass this immunity to the baby, the shingles is just the virus reactivated.

You should just avoid contact with other pregnant ladies though as you could pass on chicken pox if they have not already had it.

Try not to panic and if you are really worried your gp should be able to put your mind at rest. x

one side of head flatter than other advice please

Posted: 03/07/2011 at 10:45
My son also has one side of his head that is flatter than the other and always sleeps on it no matter how many times we move him. My oldest little boy who is now 6 had a very flat head but it soon evened itself out as he got older and laid on his back less and now you'd never know. Your health visitor might be able to give you some more advice too but think its quite normal xx
