Gosh i could have written that post myself! My daughter is 5 months and we are just about to start weaning and im hoping thats the reason but to be honest i really dont think it is, when we give her her dummy she settles again and i dont really think she would if she was hungry?? Has started to get me down too as like your little girl she has slept through from about 10 wks so its hard getting up when i don't really know why she wakes? Sorry i dont have the answers but you have my sympathy! x

Any part time teachers ??

Hi girls this is slightly off topic not really sure which forum best to put it in but has anyone got any experience of working part time. I am a primary teacher and have asked to work 2 days a week. I have asked before at my school after my first baby who is nearly 2 i was refused then and went back full time although not working long as fell pregnant with my daughter now 4 months! Anyhow i am asking again for when i return in April (we have a new head) and have a meeting arranged to discuss it i just wondered if any of you have experience of it? How does it work best? Do you have overlap with jobshare partner etc? I want to be armed with different scenarios etc so i can put a good case forward! Hope this all make sense any help would be great x

phil and teds question

Posted: 05/07/2010 at 05:32
Hi
I have a 19 month old and a two week old and we have the phil and ted sport. Our carseat is a mamas and papas one (from 1st child) but i really want to get the maxi cosi seat that fits on the phil and teds as im finding it hard to get in and out of places, e.g. baby group carrying baby in seat, bag and managing 19 month old. Think it would be easier to just clip carseat onto pushchair. Also maxi cosi is much lighter than mamas nd papas one. Wonder if anyone can advise. Anyone got carseat for phil and teds? Or any tips on how to manage this. Thanks Poppy x

Hi just wondered if anyone can help, we need to get the next stage car seat for my 9 month old boy. We have been looking at the Britax first class plus, Britax Eclipse SI or Britax Prince. Just wondered if anyone had these and what you think or if there are any others that you like. Its all so confusing cause they all seem similar to me! Thanks for any help x

Any teachers gone/going back to work?

Posted: 17/05/2009 at 14:21
thanks everyone, its good to hear how it has worked for others. I have looked into whether i need to go back for last wk in july and i think as long as i get a drs note saying im fit for return to work i can go back in hols. Its the part time bit im more worried about as heads not particularly flexible! i don't have management role so don't need to worry about that. Does anyone know if theres a time limit they have to let me know by as want to get childcare sorted and i know they will try and stall for a long as possible!

Any teachers gone/going back to work?

Hi
Joshua is 6 months now and im due back to work in october but am planning on going back september for new start of school year-i teach Reception, am going to state that i want to go back to work end of July as this is when my smp runs out and so hopefully i'll get paid for summer hols? Im going to ask for part time two days a week but am seriously doubting that they will offer this to me and not sure what i will do as really don't want to go back full time yet. I have a meeting with my head this week and am just wondering if anyone else has gone through this and how it went? I want to be armed at this meeting as im dreading it! Hope someone may be able to offer some advice or share experiences. Thanks x
