Posted: 10/01/2011 at 10:10
Hi

I would get a referral. I tried for nearly a year before being diagnosed with PCOS, but as soon as I was given help.

Checking to see if I was ovulating monthly, which I wasn't so I was given Clomid and finally after all those BFN's, within two months I got my BFP!

8 weeks after having my 1st Son, I fell pg with my 2nd Son too....

Sending you lots and lots of babydust; I hope you get a BFP very soon xx

Always look on the bright side of life :D

Donna

I cannot begin to express how sorry I am to hear your devastating news. Like the other ladies, my tears will not stop; so I cannot begin to imagine how you must be feeling right now.

Charlie was such a little fighter and a very brave little boy who will live on in the hearts of many.

Thinking of you and your Husband; sending you lots of love

Donna xx

Elective C-Section in two weeks!

Posted: 07/09/2009 at 04:15
Hi ladies

I'm having an elective c-section in December, roughly 28th, and I'm getting nervous already!! My c-section has also been agreed as DS was born via forceps delivery, leaving v.bad tearing, after a 44 hour labour!

Your replies have relaxed me a little as the only people I know to have had c-sections have all had emergency ones so the stories aren't so pleasant.

May I ask how long you long the whole 'operation' takes.... The only time I have ever been to hospital is to have my DS, in Feb; hence my nerves!!! Do they let you have any gas and air to calm you down before they give you the spinal block??? (This is the bit that scares me the most - when I had DS I had an epidural but I was completely out of it by this time....)

Also, how long should I expect to be in hospital? Our hospital won't let any children in at the moment, even your own, so I'm not going to be able to see my Son for however long I kept in.... Some people have to me two days, others have told me 4.......

Thank you very much

xxx

do you mind???

I've heard the same Cez06, my Mum read it one of her medical books at the weekend when she was looking something up for me and told me last night!!!!

Be interesting to see if my DS 'slows' down as he too is progressing very well xx

SPD again in second pregnancy?

Posted: 26/08/2009 at 11:24
I suffered with SPD mildly (only affected one leg) in my first pregnancy (DS was born in Feb) and I am currently pg again and having a c-section late December. The SPD has returned and this time it is worse, but still currently bearable.
I believe this is because I've fallen pg so quickly. When Peanut arrives there will be a 10.5 month gap between my two babies!

xx
