Hi Ladies,

I havnt been on here for ages but am regularly on facebook, I have seen there is a facebook group so would someone mind adding me if that is ok so I can get a bit more involved. It's always so quiet on here and I rarely come on and I would love to hear more about how everyone is getting on, `i just find facebook so much easier!!

So so sorry to be reading this. It is the worst thing in the world. I went through it last February. I agree with mafiaprincess, the other forums in here really helped me. Thats the only reason I started on BE cause I needed to talk to girls going through the same thing as me. You will get there sweetheart, I promise.

Flu jab??? 2 have or not 2 have???

I have a friend who I met in ttc and we stayed friends on facebook. She is nearly 9 weeks and has been diagnosed with swine flu today. She has to take antibiotics and tamiflu and if not better in 2 days will have to be hospitalised. They dont know if the tamiflu will hurt the baby or not. I don't want to be in that position and the flu jab is 100 x safer than the tamiflu but I just can't cope with flu symptoms on top of hyperemises. Is that selfish?

I have been thinking about the flu jab over the last 2 days and just can not make my mind up wether to have it or not.

I am 9+1 weeks and have been suffering with hyperemises since week 5. I have been so unwell, I have not moved off sofa for four weeks. The thought of having the flu jab and having side effects scare the life out of me, I couldn't cope with both, I would be so poorly. But I am so worried about getting swine flu and losing my baby or making myself seriously ill. I have never had flu and never ever get cold buts I have always had side effects from injections!!
I have read about people being hospitalised afterwards and being seriously ill from side effects, I just don't want it!

Is anybody else having it? Had it?

Advice would be greatly appriciated.
