Hello all,

Had my scan last week and baby is doing very well however, it turns out we had twins!

Twin 2 died at 8 weeks or so they think. It really would have been a handful as we also have our daughter who will be 17 months but have been so sad about it all the same.
I have to wait and see if I bleed ( i hope not as i will worry about twin 1 and need re scanning) or if it just vanishes into my body. :cry:

anyway, its taken a week or so to "recover" mentally as much as we can right now and now makes my new baby even more precious if thats possible.
I cannot believe i had twins even if only for 8 weeks. I was exhausted totally but i didnt think my sickness or anything was double. I just had a huge bump which has calmed down a bit over the last few weeks.

spk soon have to run baby number 1 crying!!

hello!

im another one who just had to keep eating at any sign of the sickness.
With my first pg it really was terrible and had to have tablets but i found that as soon as i felt sicky i needed to eat.
This time im not so sick but again any sign and i eat anything i can get my hands on.
Toast always helped and this time just a cracker or two will do.

I never tried the bands as im a nurse and couldnt wear anything on my wrists but i tried everything else. Any ginger I could get my hands on etc etc That didnt help and has just only really put me off ginger for life! :lol:

I hope it goes away soon for you. It really is a dreadful sick feeling. Plus just makes it more exhausting.
Sometimes i forget im pregnant but its their little way of reminding us!!

Fish and seafood. But only a little really. I could do without if I wanted. I also ate a whole jar of pickled onions in one sitting the other day.

With my first, I craved sweet things and ate half a jar of black treacle.
Maybe this ones a boy!??

I am starting to really see the positive sides to having them so close together now, I'm sure I ll get through the exhaustion!! Lol can't wait for xmasses and holidays and to see them playing together!! Exciting!

I think I am due on 17th dec (also my sisters birthday) but I have a scan booked for 6th June where I'll find out for sure I think
