Booglys_mum, I'm a cardiac patient too and seeing cardiology team. I'm just curious as to what type of delivery they have recommended for you? Are thy letting you go full term?

I still can't get over just how different each hospital is up and down the country. Don't think it's fair some women don't get seen for the first time until 12wk scan, think everyone should be seen before that especially if its your first. X

Oh I had my results there and then. It involves a blood test too and they look at the nasal bone. They just tell you your risk/chances of baby having downs not if baby actually has it as too early to tell at that point.

From what the other ladies said, they could hear it from 9+ so just be patient with it, you need to move it really slowly around your belly. I think the best place is usually lower abdomen. Good luck with it xxxx

12+4 today. And heard baby's heart beat about 10days ago on angel sounds Doppler. I didn't use the gel though, I used baby oil, it seemed to work better. X

Hey missy moo,

I asked the same question on here a couple of weeks ago, and was recommended the angel sounds Doppler. I've used it a few times but oly managed to find heart bet once. It was very good and very clear. I'm gona wait a couple more weeks before I use it again. I got t off amazon for ??25.
