Second baby taking much longer :-(

sMEP is sperm meets egg plan, detailed on one of my other topics or google but presuming no fertility issues this should give maximum chance of having down and egg meeting. Andi hey its gone so fast! I do stalk loopys thread so know how you guys are all doing but feel wrong to post iyswim? Really excited for you re chlomid, deffo worth a shot . I was taking AC vit b complex 100mg, zinc AND using progesterone cream for lp spotting the month I fell and asked about chlomid (cos convinced I had lp issues) and my gp said I had to be ttc for 2 years first! x

hey we fell straight away with DD but took 4 cycles second time round- we were using OPKs the lot so very frustrating when you presume it will be easy. Try SMEP, guarentees best chance of getting everything where it should be at the right times then its just down to that bit of luck/chance x

Massive Massive congratulations hun!!! I think it goes to show how bad stress can be when TTC, the minute you're ordered to relax you get your BFP lol!!! So chuffed for you! Hope this gets the ball rolling on a load of long awaited BFPs for the veterans x

Labour pain vs period pain

Posted: 18/02/2012 at 16:03
I think the speed and level of pain can depend a lot on when your waters break. My waters broke first and I only had what I would call bearable contractions for about 2 hours- after that they were on top of each other and unbearable- however I was examined and found to be 8/9cm at what I classed as the "unbearable" point lol so clearly they were doing their job!! I watch OBEM and the like and see them having semi strong contractions and I think I can safely say I never experianced those- just went from very mild to very painful (no way I could have walked through them). I useually have about 1/2 a day of quite painful period cramps but nothing horrendous. DD was very large and got a bit stuck and I had an anterior lip so it took me over 9 hours to get from 8cm to delivery with pain for 11 hours in total and bad pain for 10 hours - so essentially a short labour , if she hadnt have got stuck and mw had been on the ball I think my labour would have been over about 5 hours sooner (all be it with help) x
