Congratulations nimmy! Sounds like a nice straight forward birth for you!
I had my little boy on 17th at 10.16pm weighing 8lb8oz, we have named him Freddie Got to the hospital at 9.05 & he came an hour and ten mins later with just a little tear but no pain relief (ouch!) but ended up having a massive haemorrhage afterwards so not so straight forward but he's here and we're both doing well
Hope your little man is enjoying settling in, what do his brothers make of him? Xx

Managing with 2

Hiya! I'm due in 9 days with our second, my ds is 2y3m. We're in a tiny 2 bedder but we're not moving just yet. Our son has the smaller room (shared with toys!) & there would be just enough room for another cot taking out the changing table. Baby will be in with us until we move, we have a co sleeper cot which is the same size as a travel cot so plenty big enough if we were here for another year! Money wise we have just made do, I haven't had my hair cut since last year or coloured since feb, hubby treated me yesterday for being so good at abstaining haha x

Due next week but so fed up now :(

Ah god I deffo feel the same! I thought pregnancy was hard the first time round, I didn't realise how tough it would be with a toddler too! I'm 38w today and project eviction began weeks ago lol. I've tried every trick in the book but nothing except some mild pains on Tuesday & that was it! I agree with nimmy, no matter how long you waited or tried, the end is bloody tough! Lets hope we have some ba's soon! X

What date does that make your induction? We have had our first baby over on the facebook page 6 days ago, a wee girl, I can't remember what her username was over here though - useless! Lol xx

I'm 34w nearly & doing ok. Pelvis is sore but I'm managing, been to the midwife today & baby is head down thank god but not starting to engage yet but plenty of time. Think I have a uti but it's manageable. Other than that I'm pretty good! All ready for baby bar the doubles kit for iCandy which we're waiting to come into the shop. My DS keeps telling people his brothers called tommy, no idea where he has this from lol, can't wait for him to arrive now, it's our last baby so really ready to start the rest of forever now. Glad everyone's doing ok, sorry to hear about your hubby's nana nimmy xx

Ah honey bless you, hope you're feeling much better now. Xx

Soooo quiet in due in oct! how are we all doing??

Hello ladies! Hope you are both well. It is so quiet here! Are you both on our Facebook group? Busier over there. I'm 31+2 today & starting to struggle. My spd is back and I find it difficult towards the end of the day. I also find babies wriggles very uncomfortable this time round, I jump a mile in the air sometimes! I'm really looking forward to baby arriving though. This will be our 2nd & last bubs so even though 'end of an era' if you will, I'm excited to start the next chapter. Poor baby only has 7 new babygrows & 3 new vests for his first few days so far, need tk get a wriggle on! Neary done my hospital bag, & got out old clothes ready for washing, feeling quite prepared compared to a few weeks ago!
Nimmy how are you finding controlling your diet? I've not
got gd but am trying to limit my crap as I banged so much weight on last time!
xx

gestational diabetes

Posted: 27/07/2012 at 13:57
Ah hon bless you, at least it explains the big babies & you can out your mind at ease over that now as I know you were a bit worried. I had the GTT last week too but it would just appear my babies are monsters for no reason. My friend had gestational diabetes and she said although its a pain it becomes ritual And I once you know it's under control It puts mind at rest. Plus you'll get to see baby boy again too! Hope you're feeling ok about it now, big hugs xx
