What times do you do meals?

Posted: 10/06/2013 at 20:57

We're only on 2 meals a day so far but our routine is:- 8-9am 8oz bottle.  12-1 Lunch.  3:30-4pm 8oz bottle.  6pm dinner.  7:30-8pm 4oz bottle.  10:30-11pm 8oz bottle.  Will be giving breakfast soon and will give it about 9:30am. X

Which highchair did you buy?

I've also got an Ikea antilop £16 with the tray.  It's brilliant, my little one is super comfortable in it at 6 months and although it doesn't collapse the legs come off of the seat and you can take of the tray so it is easily transportable. X

Try adding a but if water to your purées - seems to help my little one with his nappies. X

What to do with a baby who doesn't like water

You could try giving warm water rather than cold / room temp. My lo preferred it warm at first but will now drink it at room temp. X

Clear blue tests

Also it might only just be saying 2-3 as you might have ovulated slightly later than you expected plus the tests are based on the concentration if hormones in your wee - dont panic, it still says pregnant which is great. Xxx

Clear blue tests

You need to add 2 weeks on to a clear blue digital as it tells you when conception took place but you are considered 2 weeks pregnant when conception happens (as the dr will date you from your last period) so even though it says 2-3 weeks you are actually 4-5 weeks - hope that all made sense

Recommend me some weaning products

A hand blender is a must - I just got a cheapy from Argos, think it was £8.99.

Apart from that just got some bpa free bowls and spoons from ikea (3of each) 2 ice cube trays to freeze left over purées and 2 bibs with sleeves that can be rinsed and dry super quick (also from ikea).

Have fun.

Getting a clue on solids

Just seen your other threads, I'm not doing blw but starting with purées so not sure the books will help as I'm not sure how different blw is to traditional weaning. X
