Hi girls,

My hubby and I are hopefully moving up to near Glasgow in Jan/Feb 2010, my family were born up there (in Paisley Refrewshire) It would be fab to get to know some other mummies up there.

I have 1 little girl, Marissa and she will be 4 next month.

Hello everyone

Hello everyone, I joined this site a while ago and used to be a regular but I left for a while due to me having a miscarriage in August 2008. I have since had another miscarriage this time it was a missed miscarriage and I had to have a D&C on the 13th Jan. My husband and I are still hoping for a baby and we have been having tests and so far it looks hopeful we will be able to have a successful pregnancy in the future.

All those who are pregnant I want to say congratulations and those ttc I wish you lots and lots of sticky baby dust.

Looking forward to getting to know you all.

When did you start to show?

I am almost 7 weeks gone and I have quite a bump already! We are thinking I maybe further along than we first thought. My LMP was the 16th June but it wasn't a proper period, my last proper period was on the 18th April so I maybe 16 weeks!! I am ringing the Dr's tomorrow to make an emergency appointment with the Midwife to see if I can get booked in for an early dating scan so we are sure.

Worried.

My daughter didn't start walking until she was nearly 18 months old, she was forward in other things though, she never had any tests, mum said babies do things in their own time, she used to tiptoe around the sofa's (sofa surfing) she was a late crawler too. (I was waking at 10 months, but never learned to crawl !! So every baby is different)

Developmentally she is fine, there is nothing wrong with her, she is 3 in Sept and is running around like any other toddler.

Hope my advice has helped you hun, and good luck with the Dr's appointment.

I didn't want to read and run, I want to say I am very sorry for your loss and you will be in our thoughts as we say our prayers on Sunday. You may or may not be religious but I would like to say a prayer for you and your husband tonight if that is okay?

Wishing you love and guidance through this difficult time and if you do start ttc again we wish you the best of luck.

Realy worried...

Thank-you girls, I know this is my 2nd pregnancy but I don't remember my last pregnancy I have severe pain with SPD and was in a wheelchair so I have blocked that memory from my brain and just remember the giving birth bit, I said to my mum I feel like a first time mum again as I was pregnant 3 years ago and can remember nothing!

We were going to book an early scan but I think we will wait 6 weeks for the dating scan, as you said camlo it will only look like a blob. I have never had a 12 weeks scan before so really looking forward to it, with my daughter I had a scan at 7 weeks due to being rushed into hospital with a suspected ectopic pregnancy.

Less than 3 weeks till I see the midwife and I will speak to her about what I've written today.

Once again thank-you, I really appreciate it. (hubby has announced he'd like 4 kids we have 1 and a bump, my hormonal reply this morning was you've got the easy job, I'm the one that has to give birth! we were in fits of giggles, his reply was if bump is twins you only have to give birth once more after this one  I gave him a friendly slap on the arm)

I need to get some maternity jeans as mine are far to tight now, but I am only 6 weeks and feel silly surrounded by big bumped ladies shopping. I felt like fraud and went to Primark for jogging bottoms and t shirts

I love my little bump, it is cute and quite rounded.

I am in my first Trimester and all of the other girls I have spoken to have lost weight in the first Trimester. I am only 6+5 and I have an obvious bump already and my weight is normally 66.6 Kg but I weighed myself this morning and I am now 75.3 Kg. I have not been eating more, probably less I never was a big eater even before we found out I was pregnant.

I didn't have a bump with my daughter this early.

Do you think I should see the Midwife early in case it is twins or wait until my appointment on the 20th?

I don't think there is any way my dates are wrong as my LMP was on the 16th June.

Any help or advice is greatly welcome.
