I rarely post on here but we are trying to keep baby plans quiet (as word will spread fast in our social circle if anyone was to find out) and I really just need to vent (no advice needed and nothing will probably help anyway).
I am 30, DH 31 been with DH for 7 years, we got married in November. We moved overseas 4 years ago and are very happy. After the wedding we decided to start trying for a baby in January this year.
I came off the pill about 18 months ago, been tracking body and periods and was on a 28-30 day cycle, with regular 4 day periods. Had been observing CM and periods for about 6 months so I was prepared. Don't want to do temping so bought some internet cheapy Ov sticks. January came but we were both really sick with flu so only BD'd once at the right time. Got my period (2 days early, but normal). Check my OV sticks and they detected the dates I was ov'ing pretty well and in line with phone app I have.
Feb came, and was all excited as neither of us sick ha ha, work schedules were not manic and we were both prepared to give it a good shot. From about day 9 I was using my OV sticks, We BD'd on Day 10, Day 12 and Day 13 with suggested Ov day as Day 14
Day 14 arrived, no +ve on ov stick. Have now tried on Day 15, 16 & 17 and no +ve. Added to that, have been thinking that I have had no CM this cycle at all, very strange for me as I have been checking it for so long and pretty regular with cycles.
So I feel gutted! Absolutely gutted. I know there is always next month etc, and there is no perfect time, but I am a teacher and would like to get my BFP by April so I can hand in my notice. One thing that is strange is that I am feeling incredibly tired and have sore nipples (sorry if TMI) but not boobies. We only BD once in January and I had a period so it couldn't be from then. But I can't of conceived this month as no +ve on Ov stick and too early for symptoms surely.
Like I said, no advice needed, just feeling incredibly down and really just needed to get it off my chest a little.
