Feeding and weaning webchat with Annabel Karmel, Tuesday 15th November, 12-1pm

Posted: 14/11/2011 at 11:42
Hi Annabel,

Firstly, just to say Thanks for a great book, ice cube tray and great website with lots of tips! My problem is I've just started my 6 month old (27 weeks) on solids and trying to follow your meal planner that's in your book. However my baby has started clamping his mouth shut and turns his head away? What should I do?

I forgot to add I have left it a few days and tried again twice now but he's still not interested. He weighs 19lb 1 oz at 6 months so being a big boy I thought he would love his food!

Our first DIA baby is here!

Hi,

I haven't been on BE for ages (I've been over on b&bump) but can't believe our first DIA baby has arrived! Hope they're doing ok.

We haven't bought a single thing yet!!! We'll start in the new year. I'm just busy making a list. To be honest I'm getting so confused though with so much choice! I had decided on the maxi cosi car seat but then there are so many different ones to choose from!

Team Yellow Predictions?

Posted: 21/12/2010 at 09:54
Hi,

I'm team yellow, due 25th April and I predict girl (only because I had a dream in the first week weeks I was pregnant and I was holding a little girl). DH thinks boy. We really don't mind, it's just all so exciting especially now I can feel movement in there and I don't feel like I'm making the whole thing up!

Babymoons!

ooo we have now decided it would be a good idea to have a holiday before little one arrives. We want somewhere warm but don't really want to travel too far. Think we might go to the canary islands...any recommendations?

20 wk scan this wk

Oooo good luck with all the scans this week! I thought I was one of the last in this forum but nice to know you're all having yours as well! I've got mine on Tuesday!

Do we need to have a full bladder like the 12 week scan?
x
Good Luck

Anyone left in team yellow? lol

We're team yellow! So many people are surprised we don't want to find out! I'm 20 weeks tomorrow, have scan on Tuesday...can't wait!! We can then go shopping! I haven't bought a thing yet because I'm waiting until after the scan.

Good luck with your scan tomorrow and with your exam x

19 weeks and no movement

Posted: 03/12/2010 at 12:00
Hi,

I was going to type the exact same post today! I'm 19+4 and I think I've felt a bit of a flutter but not sure if it was just my imagination. I was starting to get slightly worried but I have the scan on Tuesday so fingers crossed x

From what I've googled it's quite common and can be anything up to 22 weeks to feel first movements.

Don't worry hun x

Really upset :(

Sorry to read this, how awful! What a tosser he sounds! I would get on the phone to the midwife tomorrow and get checked out. Surely they have to fit you in for an appointment, I'd put your foot down hun especially if you've got pains x

Let us know how you get on x
