Crawling, shuffli, walking yet?

HI,

I haven't been on for a while as it seemed to die in here so good to see some posts!

My DD started comando crawling at 7 months, she has just started wanting to climb over things (at 8 1/2 months) but doesn't stand for very long with support and is very wobbly!

It's good to hear about everyone's babies, can't believe how quickly time has gone!

Will look in here more often when poss now! x

Diarrhoea - sorry nasty topic !

Hi,

My DD has had a bug and has had diarrhoea for 13 days now. The doc said she seems fine, she is eating and drinking just pooing lots! but doc sent a sample off too just to check. Poor little mite also has an ear infection too!
A few of the other babies in our NCT group had it but my DD seems to have it worse and it gave her terrible nappy rash!I hadn't heard of it going on so long either but just to let you know you're not alone!

I gave her some Readybrek this morning instead of the wheat Biscuits after reading the box! Think i will give this for a few days and see how she gets on then. Sounds as if Weetabix and the Tescos one are the same then, hmm maybe when i do introduce it i won't give it too often then! x

Hi,

Just have a couple of questions if anyone can help.

I am about to introduce wheat to my DD (6 months) and would like to give the Tescos version of Weetabix that we eat but looked on the box this morning and it says sugar and salt in the ingredients list. Does anyone know if Weetabix doesn't have sugar and salt added? As i've read that the brand Weetabix is fine for babies i'm wondering if it's any different to the Tescos version?

Also i read somewhere that when introducing wheat or oats to do so over a week but can't remember where i read it and in my Annabel Karmel book it says 24 hours for new foods and only more if allergies in the family (which there arn't) so i'm not sure how long i should give it before i move onto another food group.
