Colief - Help

google or youtube "tiger in a tree" position. it was the only way we could get our babe to bring her wind up and it helped to settle her colicky belly.

routine/naps-to early?

bliss, i pretty much put up with it until she was 10months old and i got pregnant with sophie. i had to do controlled crying but now she sleeps brilliantly, 6.30pm til 8.30am! i did lots of walking with phoebe in the pram so she slept lots in that too, i wish id have put her down in her cot for naps from the start!

do you have a routine yet?

Posted: 02/09/2011 at 15:06
we've reached the 4 month growth spurt so my 1 feed a night has turned into 3 night feeds! ive started her on baby rice in the hope it keeps her satisfied!

we cant have a "proper" routine yet, as all the kids clubs are off for school hols and phoebe is teething like mad so its all rather hectic, although we sort of know when shes due a nap!!!

milk intake 18 months

Im still a fan of using toddler formula instead of cows milk. IMO it has so many more nutrients in. Ive only just stopped using it now as DD1 (22 months) really wasnt bothered by having it anymore- plus its expensive!!

please dont take offence but 3 bottles of forumla a day for 18months seems rather alot to me? Doesn't it fill her up so much that she doesnt want much food? If shes eating well aswell though then thats brilliant!

Best feeding bottle

I struggled for months and months to get my breastfed daughter to take a bottle. I tried every bottle under the sun, with no luck. Someone told me about the MAM Ultivent bottles and straight away she took to it- definately the perfect teat!! I recommend them to everyone I know now, and dd2 has no trouble mixed feeding from them too
