Hey lovely, before I had my gorgeous Lily I too suffered 2 mc, and like you couldn't settle the whole way through my pregnancy. Then After having Freddie I got diagnosed with pnd. Even though a lot of things happened at the end of my pregnancy with Freddie (which I won't go into on here) plus the fact I was unable to breastfeed, dvt scare alot of my 'troubles' seem to steam from my mc. I find talking about it helps (5 & 4 yrs ago they were now on the 18th Nov... yes thats right the same date 2 years running!), but that doesn't mean I forget or don't feel the pain. I didn't recieve any councilling at the time of the first one, which if I'm honest pushed me to the edge and I wish I would've, I also know that a lot of my pnd seems to stem from this.
Sorry this is only a quick reply but my hubby is in hospital so I'm grabbing 5 mins whilst I can, but I just wanted to say I can sympathise with you and if you ever need to chat message me on fb.x

Baby group?

We did the same with my postnatal group from Lily and out of the 8 of us which are still in contact 6 have had baby no 2 since April so we as well as the 3yr olds all being friends the bubbas will too.
They have been a lifesaver to me and even after only knowing them a year they all came to my hen night and wedding reception. We have the odd meal out (which was a bit sober last time as 6 of us were pregnant) but its great knowing we are all going through the same.
We have had joint parties for the 1st & 2nd birthdays as well as the 3rd in Jan. We all meet up wed afternoons (we have even arranged pre school and work around it!) and will often see a few others during the week.
This week with Dan being in hospital they have been amazing helping with the kids, there when I need to chat I'd actually be lost without them.x

Now our babies are coming up to 6 months.....

BABY'S NAME & DOB: Freddie - born 20th May 2010

HOW ARE YOU FINDING MOTHERHOOD: I Love it though it is very hard work with a demanding nearly 3 year old aswell.

WHAT IS YOUR BABY UP TO?: Freddie is very active and will be in a completely different place to where you leave him, part of this I think is that he tries to be near Lily, who is his favourite form of entertainment and will just sit and watch her for hours (she does like performing to an audience so it suits her!) Will sit up in his ball pit, but prefers to be in his walker (only goes backwards) or door bouncer. Blowing raspeberries seems to be his favourite thing to do at the moment. He also sleeps from 8.30-8.30 which for me is perfect but expecting that to change when the clocks go back. Freddie is constantly babbling away though he'll rarly get a word in with Lily around.

HOW IS WEANING GOING: Great, Freddie is now on 3 meals a day and 3 bottles. Generally has a gluten free baby cereal for breakfast, homemade veg puree and fruit for lunch, then more fruit and half a jar/pouch for dinner as I want him to get a good mix of both shop bought and my cooking. Will be laying off meat, egg, gluten & citrus fruits until 6 months.

WHATS YOUR BABY'S FAVOURITE TOY: At the moment his baby walker, but he still loves his playmat & his little yellow giraffe.

PLANS TO GO BACK TO WORK: Am going back 3 days a week on 24th Jan, then starting college hopefully next year for my access course, money permitting it'll be full time over 1 year if not it'll be part time for 2 as I wanna become a midwife.

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH YOUR BABY?: Mondays morning its baby yoga, Wednesdays we meet with the girls from my postnatal group with Lily (6 of the 8 now have a baby under 7 months aswell), Friday Lily has tumble tots then we usually go to a surestart centre with friends. We take them both swimming at least every other saturday aswell.

ANY PLANS FOR NUMBER 2 (OR 3 OR 4)?: I am currently happy with the 2 I have, my boy and girl and if we have anymore it will be after I am a midwife so at least 5/6yr gap even then I will only be 31 or 32.

I'm so sorry hun, I had 2 MC myself before Lily so know how much it hurts. They were both spontanous at 12 & 6wks so I didn't have a D&C.
Sending you big hugs.xxx
