Hi becca ive had this problem with my 2nd pregnancy from 18 weeks of my pregnancy its so bad when i wake my legs go numb and i cant even get out of bed ,ive had a few really bad episodes of it where i cant even turn over in bed or even wigle my toes my body just seems to freeze and im in agony with it even if i lift my head off the pillow i get sharp shooting pains down back, bum and legs
i havent found anything that helps yet ive been referred to a physio to try to help me with some excercises you can do if its as bad as mine i would see doctor for help,as i had it with last pregnancy aswell but was from 7mths pregnant so only had it a while but after baby was born it all went away which i hope yours does aswell but you can suffer with it after giving birth .if you do find any miracle cures let me know as im suffering really bad and ive still got 12 weeks to go yet .take care hun and keep us posted

would love to talk to people due in November!

Posted: 15/07/2006 at 18:10
i went for my anomality scan and was 21 weeks and 4 days pregnant as they said from my dating scan ,but on the day of the scan the nurse put down in my notes im 24 weeks pregnant which shes added 2 and 1/2 weeks on the original amount of weeks to which i was pregnant
has this happened to anyone else and how did the midwife deal with it as im confused now to when i should be due ,will my date change or is my baby just big?
