That's wonderful - congratulations, so glad it happened quickly for you and keeping everything crossed for a happy, healthy pregnancy, xx

Should I go??

Ooooh gosh, totally up to you, my dd was born at 38 weeks (100% sure of dates as fertility treatment), plus the fact I felt blinking incomfortable then and would have been miserable tramping around, being in a big arena and doing all that travelling, but everyone's different. Would be a shame to spend all that money and then hate it,but would be a shame to miss out if you're going to love it, xxx

Is anyone else really NOT enjoying pregnancy???

I HATE being pregnant - don't get me wrong I can't wait til the luttle one comes, my daughter is the light of my life and I'd like to have more after this one BUT...... I can't stand being pregnant - I have a joint problem and being pregnant is a big bag of pain and lack of sleep and more pain and difficulty - I can't wait for labour when I know all this will be over! It's such a long time and just gets worse as it goes along. I'm quite jealous of those who get to enjoy pregnancy - I've had one and a half now and it's been a miserable 13.5 months - still four and a half to go and then I can start to forget how horrible it is. Labour is a breeze compared to this! xx

Parenting Books?!

Gina Ford tells you what to do literally minute by minute e.g. 7.30 wake baby, 7.32 feed baby from right breast for 20 mins, 7.42have a drink, 8.00 express 4oz from left breast etc etc (not a quote as I don't have it front of me but know it quite well as I read it out in my classes). Soem people love that, some people hate it. Remeber she hasn't had her own children and you don't get a physical stress response from other people's children crying (it's just irritating) when it's your owsn your blood pressure rises and you are emotionally involved. Other thing to watch is that you can't really go out much which means that you are more at risk for postnatal depression - so you need to be careful about that.
Gina Ford is one extreme - Attachment parenting bookes are the other extreme and there are literally thousands that fall somewhere in between. It's a bit of a minefield really! xx

Antenatal classes

I did private classes last time and I'm doing NCT this time (I'm a teacher so don't need the classes as such but want to meet the group). btw - we each write our own course plan and decide (with the group) what's included in each course - so no course is the same even the same teacher will run a different course dependign on the clients' requirements and different teachers vary enormously! xx

I've just won a competition!!!!
