Oh dear .....

Hi everyone, just another update, it looks as though Laura had pre eclampsia. doc's have been doing bloods to check etc. bp is being managed by meds that she'll gradually come off.
zach had blood taken to test infection level and if its dropped they'll let him home as an outpatient. it looks as though a valve from his heart that should've closed after birth hasn't so he may need an operation to have clip put in. poor little mite.
she hopes to be home tonight.
if she is not then i'll come back on & let you all know updates.
i have passed on your wishes, think its kept her strong to know you all thinking of them xxxx

Hey hun sorry to hear you've been having a crap time of it.

Like everyone else has said Adam obviously loves his mummy very much!!!

Take no notice of silly comments from that woman. You know your own son, & you'd be the first one to pick up on anything that wasn't right.

Hope the tablets help you soon (& dont make you itch lol)

Another update on Laujai

Poor Laura is going through the mill at the moment. She has asked me to do brief update.

Laura's iron levels have been low so she's had to have a blood transfusion bless her. She's waiting on a blood test to see if they have improved.

Little man is called Zachery (or Zach for short). He's not been doing too well either. He's got a bit of Jaundice. They have also discovered a slight heart mummur, he's having an ecg & chest xray & on antibiotic's just incase of infection. They also waiting on results for something called gent level, it can effect hearing & kidney if over 2 his was 3.4, she will get those results tonight.

She has said he's much more alert today than he was. So thats good news.

They are hoping to get home at the end of the week.

Really hope things perk up for Laura & Zachery, its def been along journey for them.

IT'S A BOY, IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!

Baby boy born at 7:09 this evening by c section weighing 7lb 1oz!!!!! His name is to be confirmed. She says he's gorgeous with a mop of black hair.

Congratulations honey, your a star after so many days in labour.
