Sicky babies

My little one (now 4 weeks old) has always had a problem with being sick after her feeds which the midwife assured me at first was because she was a section and had probably swallowed alot of lfuid when she was born. The sickness died down for a while only bringing up a little bit when burped.

However in the last few days she has started to be sick alot more, I have tried changing the feeding position and making sure she is burped etc but as soon as I put her down either in her moses basket or her bouncing chair she is sick again and it is always quite a bit.

Do you think she no longer likes the milk I am giving her or could it be something else?:\?

Hi

I was wondering if there are any mums or mums-to-be living in the Great Yarmouth/Lowestoft area.

I'm a first time mum (baby Sophie 3wks + 2days) and although family and friends are being wonderful I think it might be easier to meet up with mums who are still going through the same problems as I am.

shared care?

After some recent pre-eclampcia scares I have now been put on shared care and daily monitoring which means I have to try and get to the hospital everyday and although I can drive my bump will not fit behaind the wheel anymore so have to rely on people taking me. My husband is a store manager and cannot just 'pop out' to drive me all the way over to the hospital and back again. My doctors surgery is only round the corner so I don't understand why I couldn't just go there and see someone there or even have the midwife do a home visit. i don't really think they consider how people will get to these places and its hard enough at the best of times but especially hard when your pregnant and you can't walk very far and have to work out where the nearest toilet is all the time :lol::lol:

how far along am I?

I am having a similar problem where I went for my booking in appointment with my midwife who couldn't work out if I was due on the 24/10 or the 24/11 but then at my scan they put me down as the 14/11. The only concern I have now is that I worked my dates out to be the 24/10 (which would make me over due) and when I had a recent growth scan that said that I was inline with these dates but the doctors have said that the dating scan at 12 wks is more accurate than my dates and that I just have a big baby. So if and when I finally deliver I could be anything from 42wks to 45wks gone... nice

Interesting pregnancy dreams?!!

I had a similar dream about the sex of my baby (which I don't know). I dreamt that everyone had come round to see me and were all cheering at the fact I had this lovely little girl and I remember standing up and saying 'but I wanted a boy' like a spoilt brat. I woke up really upset thinking that if I do have a girl does that mean I don't want her and I really want a boy. It unsettled me for days afterwards

did u find out what sex??

I haven't found out the sex of my first baby but my husband really wanted to know, however I joked all along that bubs would have its legs crossed and sure enough at 21wks scan bubs had its legs crossed so he couldn't find out. Some days I wish I knew if it was a girl or a boy but I suppose the surprise will be better

Is it a girl or a boy???
