Hi pinklady i had a similar problem with marley he went from eating anything to suddenly not wanting to eat anything from a spoon and only wanting fingerfoods so i give him a small bowl of fruit so he can feed him self before i give him his wheetbix in a morning for dinner i give him finger foods such as krispy chicken nuggets and pototoe wedges (we use the annabel karmel fingerfood book for ideas) and for tea i give him things such as cottage pie (so i know hes eating something lol) since ive started doing this hes eating has improved and hes back to eating anything i give him x

Contraceptive Implant

Posted: 11/06/2009 at 06:45
hi i hope nobody minds me posting but i would go really careful with the contraceptive implant i had it put in over 3 and a half years ago and was really ill with it for seven months untill doctors eventually agreed to remove it, during the removal the doctor removing managed to nick a nerve in my arm (very rare to happen) which resulted in me not being able to use my hand for over a year and a half, one of the doctors i saw after i had the implant removed said it was getting very common for the implant to cause problems such as illness, and when going for the implant it is best to check how much experiance your doctor has had at both putting the implant in and removing it and if there have been any problems with either process.

hope nobody minds me posting about this and hope i havent scarred anyone or put them off as it can be very helpful for most women and is rare for things to go wrong

spd

Posted: 21/10/2008 at 16:47
hi i dont know if this helps anyone but i came across some helpful advice for spd last week...
since being about 12 weeks pregnant ive been suffering with really bad spd to the point where im now on crutches and have been unable to get up and down stairs (my partner had to bring microwave up so i can make something to eat whilst he's at work).
last week i was looking on the internet for something to help with the pain as tablets from the docs dont seem to help and the only ones that do work seem to affect the baby and i found a bit about arnica tablets and cream helping with the pain so i got my partner to pick some up at the weekend to try, i have been taking the 6c tablets a couple of times a day and putting the cream on when it starts to hurt and putting the cooling gel on a night before i go to bed, since using them the pain has been more manageable it still hurts but am able to walk about a lot easyer and am able to go up and down stairs without crying lol

anyway hope this helps xx

questions to ask when visiting a nursery?

Posted: 27/09/2008 at 06:40
hi a good quiestion to ask is what qualifications each member of staff have and when they recieved their qualifications.

Ive worked in a nursery where one of the senior staff was a student yet the parents were told that they were qualifed. When a parent asked what qualifications each member of staff had and when theyed quialifed it came out that a student yet was responsible for the nursery while the manager was off.

Although this was only at one of the nurserys ive worked at i find its a good question to ask
