Mixed emotions

Its been a while since you posted this but I have just seen it. How are you? Ectopic pregnancy cannot be diagnosed confidently without seeing the embryo outside the uterus in a scan, they can only guess looking at positive hpts, nothing seen on scan and what your hcg levels are doing in blood tests. Also an ectopic is not likely to cure itself you are highly likely to need treatment either drugs or an op (or both). You not getting this is risking your life.

when is it best to try again after ectopic

Hi, I'm sorry to hear about what you have been through. My first pregnancy was ectopic and after having my tube removed was advised to wait a cycle before trying again. I didnt wait, but as it happened fell pregnant again second cycle anyway. They only really advise this due to knowing dates a bit better, and if you are feeling well you can try again whenever you are ready. The only time you need to wait is if you were treated with methotrexate, and the length of time you need to wait depends on the dosage.
