Just realised I was looking at single fairs - numpty!!! Looking at returns and if booked in advance it's actually not too bad but definitely couldn't afford Newcastle as they still want ??141 if booked now!!!
Once you choose a destination and date I'll check I can afford ticket xxx

Ideas & suggestions for big summer meet up :)

Just been looking at times and prices for me from Swansea. It'd only be myself and Ioan otherwise I'd have to bring both girls if Mark came too and that's just too expensive. Looking at distance and costs on train from all the options Niene has suggested and Hayley, I could do Stoke on Trent, Birmingham and possibly Nottingham but that's quite expensive for me. Oxford and Newcastle definitely out because it would cost me ??100 minimum just for the train and I will be unemployed then so really counting the pennies.
I can do weekends or weekdays really but I'm seeing Take That on 15th or 16th June in Cardiff. Would love to meet up with you all and love the idea of secreat baby presents xxx

Sleeping throught the night?

Posted: 03/02/2011 at 10:58
We still wake at half 12 too and it's definitely hunger not habit. My HV told me off and said he should be sleeping through but I've tried the controlled crying and giving water instead but he always polishes off 7 oz and he's usually had at least 21 oz during the day.
They'll do it when they're good and ready. My eldest slept through from day one and my youngest daughter at about 7 months so they're all different.
Has to be said I can't wait for that day though the one night Ioan did sleep through I woke at 3 and couldn't go back to sleep!!!!

Bottle or Cup/Beaker for milk?

Posted: 31/01/2011 at 10:45
Ioan still has his milk in his bottle but has water etc in beaker. He likes having his beaker but doesn't drink in a continuous flow as he does with his bottle so don't think I'll be putting his milk in a beaker for a while yet otherwise it'll take a long time to finish 7oz!!!! xxx

Anyone else's baby not rolling?

Posted: 24/01/2011 at 10:52
Thanks girls. He did roll today from front to back and I got him to do it 3 times - he's now fast asleep!!! Obviously tired him out. I didn't realise that it wasn't a milestone though. With both the girls the HV was really keen on them doing it and Ioan has his 6 month developmental check tomorrow and I was worried it was going to be an issue. He's done it just in time though!!!!
Thanks again xxx
