What do your LO's do that make you laugh?

Aw, lovely post.

Cate makes me laugh a lot, I can't believe what a character she has at 11months.

My favourite tho is when she comes over to me and blows a raspberry on my shoulder or on my tummy and then looks at me and giggles - cracks me up every time

FAO TB - Kingston Hospital

g/c your FAO sorry! I gave birth in Kingston hospital last year too and I think it was great. I heard so many horror stories about Epsom that I couldn't consider going there.

I had to be induced so no calm birthing pool for me but the midwives were great and the place was really clean. All the birthing rooms have their own en-suite so you can hop in the shower or bath mid labour if you like.

Afterwards I was transferred to my own room with an ensuite and was able to discharge myself after 6 hours.

I dont think they do hospital tours though as they have so many births (nearly 8000 per year!) but they do have a great DVD which shows you what the rooms look like and gives you an idea on what to expect.

Anyone else worried what pregnancy/breastfeeding will do...

a bit worried, my boobs are only just recovering from bf and they are definitely not as pert as they were prebaby!

gracie19 my boobs meant i had to rugby ball feed too! interesting in public, lol. It was either that or hold one up and shove it in - a bit worried about smothering small baby!!

I will be bf again next time (hoping there will be a next time!). It was a real struggle for me this time - it's certainly not the natural and easy thing it's made out to be before you have lo, i found anyway.

Having said that I made it to 6months exclusively bf and then swapped a feed for a bottle of formula each month until lo was 9months and then she just had 2 bottles per day. I found that much easier in public as I have large boobs and madam liked to unlatch and look around every few mins, lol. It was also easier to track how much milk she was getting when I started weaning.

Next time I hope to bf for longer as I will def feel more confident and less self conscious but if I make it 6 months I'll feel pretty good anyway.

LC your plan looks great, may keep that somewhere as an option!

Waking in the night for feed when previously sleeping thru

I seem to remember my lo did a similar thing about 15 weeks and I think it was a growth spurt. What we ended up doing was sticking to the normal 7pm bedtime and then giving her a dreamfeed at 1030/11pm (lights off, still asleep). Its harder to wind afterwards but by that age she could mostly bring up her own burps. That carried her through until 630am most nights and she dropped the dreamfeed when we started weaning at 25 weeks.

Sometimes I worry I am not strong enough...

aw hun, sorry to hear you're feeling so anxious. It's not surprising that you feel worried with everything you've been through and maybe you just want to get on with it all as the waiting contributes to your stress. Just remember that you must have been really strong to get through your pnd the first time and if you trust yourself to know the signs you will be fine.
