Baby in own room from Day 1?

my dd gone into her room a week after she was born - she's just turned 1 now. We put her moses basket inside the cot, so when she grew out of it she slept in the same place. I can say that we all had a better nights' sleep.

My dd is still breastfed, we put a single bed in her room - i use this bed to feed her at night. once i finish feeding she goes back into the cot and I into my bed. don't know how big your other bedroom is, but you may consider doing the same.

i would also recommed a Contented little baby book by Gina Ford, she has a lot of useful advice.

I had similar problem years ago, and have a very strong opinion about porn (i won't go there, it gets me angry). Anyway I don't mind my hubby satisfying himself if he wants to, but there are plenty of other stimulants he can use!

I was so so upset i couldn't even talk to him, so I sat down and wrote a letter to him in which i explained how it made me feel. He read the letter and I never seen him watch porn again...

Hi, I'm back

Finally, I'm home after spending xmas and new year at in-laws. Me thinks it's not going to happen next year as it was a bit too long for my liking....I really needed to rant at one point and couldn't do it because internet wouldn't connect!

Thank you very much secret santa - firsttimer? - fab toy, Olivia loves it!! She gets very excited by toys that have small balls inside that she can see.
Shopaholic_Lea your pressie was from us glad you liked it.

A little update on us - Olivia is sleeping through (7pm - 7am ish) most nights now since begining of December, yupeeeee never thought this day will come. From last week I stopped giving her dummy when she goes to sleep, I cuddle and/or rock her until she's drowsy and then put her in the cot. Don't know if i'm doing the right thing rocking her, but it works for now.
Weaning is going well (most of the time), I offer her finger food and feed her purees at the same time. She seems to like both.
