Would you be annoyed??

Posted: 05/01/2011 at 07:54
I am 10+4 and have no booking in appt date or scan date nor has anyone contacted me about my pregnancy despite me informing my GP AND the receptionist with my details at 5 weeks pregnant.

With my son I had my booking in appt at 10 weeks and this was booked about a month in advance.

I have had a private early scan as I'm concerned about MC due to early bleeding which I had with DS, this was done at 7+6 and showed baby & HB all seeming good BUT since I have had a small bleed (literally barely anything so havent told GP and still have pg symptoms).

RARRGHHH sorry for the rant I just want my 12 week scan so I can relax....at this rate it is going to be a bloody 16 week scan!!!! (FC if i go that far)

I have called GPs to chase it up twice but they were quite impatient with me and I just got "you are on the list for the midwife to call"

Peed off ...

12 week scan dates

I'm so bloody jealous - I'm 10+4 and have NO date for scan or booking appt. Keep getting totally fobbed off by my doctor's surgery, have called enquiring twice and got told by receptionist to be patient basically rarrghh. I have had a private viability scan at 7+6 which showed baby + heartbeat but have had a tiny tiny bleed since (smudge of brown discharge tmi, not enough to even contact docs) so I am still panicky. When I had my son the midwife booked the booking in appts and scan dates well in advance which I much preferred.

Spotting - Pls Help!

Hi

I had spotting with my son similar to what you say. It died off at 11 weeks but was pretty horrible at the time.

This time I am 10+3 and have had a tiny bit of brown discharge at 9 weeks. Seriously hardly anything so I havent called docs, esp since I've already had an early scan.

I would let your GP know & will get you in for an early scan. Hope everythings OK xx

I'm still here!!

*fingers crossed*

My internet has been down so haven't been around. I am sneaking on BE as back to work today

I am now 10+3 and due 30th July as had my private early scan at 7+5 and was put forward 1 day. All was fine, seen HB etc. I have since had a tiny, TINY brown bleed but trying not to panic as I have been having sickness (finally kicked in at 6-7 weeks) and had bleeds with my DS.

Whats peeing me off though is...I have NO booking appt or scan date!!!

I have called my GPs but all i get is "You're on the list for the midwife to call"

:x :x

Hope everyone is well best get bk to work now!!! xx

Toxoplasmosis!

Eeeek!!! I have a kitten (indoor until she is spayed, shes only tiny) and I do do the cat litter. Reason being If I left it to my OH I would be waiting forever and the poor cat would be walking in her own poop!!

I scoop the poos as & when she does one with a litter scoop, don't use gloves for this as not handling the litter or even touching anything except the scoop handle, but do wash my hands very thoroughly afterwards, with antibacterial wash.

I change the full litter every other day and wash the whole tray with boiling water....use gloves for this.

I must admit i do worry about toxoplasmosis. I hope im not doing anything too bad?! I'm 7+1...and did grow up with 4 outdoor cats!!!

Still not really showing...is this ok?

I was massive with my DS but didn't really start showing until 16 weeks and I don't think it was hugely noticeable to anyone else until more like 20 weeks. xxx

Enjoy it all, even if you go overdue, definitely spend some of the 9 months relaxing and doing things you may not be able to do when the baby's here.

Try and relax for the first 12 weeks and the last 2 weeks - even though that can be difficult!!!

Don't let other people (mil's, sisters, mums, dads, randoms!) sway your views as in "oh dont buy a baby bath / don't breast feed / bottle feed " Do what YOU think is best!!! That doesnt mean just ignore advice but take it with a pinch of salt kinda thing.

I'm 6+4 with my 2nd so we're in due in aug together x

Please dont hate me

If you feel that strongly I would perhaps cancel the gender scan hon....You won't question if it's a girl if you find out when she's born is the reasoning!

You're normal and i think many people feel like this to a degree.

I'm on my 2nd and would quite like another boy but I have very little preference either way as this will be my last (All being well - Fingers crossed!) and I will be happy with 2 brothers or 1 of each, both sound nice.

xx

6 weeks today and very very ill!!!!

I feel the same as you, I'm 6+4. With my son I was sick in the mornings. This time it is just nausea and it's all-day. I can eat but don't fancy any food!! I'm also really tired, didnt have that last time either. xx
