signs of having twins?

The only way is to have a scan,like its been said various times in this thread,you will show quicker on second or more pregnancies and symptoms mean naff all I had every symptom with my singleton pregnancy but had no symptoms with my twins,so you can ether pay for an early scan or wait for another 5wks but that's the only way you will find out

i know its common, and i high number of pregnancies start out as twins and one ends up vanishing,but a lot of people dont realise as they dont have an early scan,i found out i was having twins at 7wks and was worried sick,even a lady who i knew,told me about VTS,i could have throttled her,anyway 12wk is the time you can relax,but then there is a whole heap of worries with twins lol so try and relax,i know its hard but just try

wow,what a mean and nasty doctor,if you could i would try and wait till your about 6-7wks i know its hard but if the doctor sends you for an early scan,they wont be a heartbeat till then but i would deffo make an appointment and get to see a different doctor,so they can refer you to have an early scan at the epu,try and not worry,all bleeding doesnt mean the worse,it could be implantion bleed with you been so early and i had a fresh bleed at 7wks and 13wks and both times everything was ok

anyone experienced similar reactions how did u deal with it?

yes,i think a lot of people want twins,they dream of it,so when someone gets pregnant with twins,there jealous,my twins are 4 now and i still get "i bet there hard work" iam counting down to sept when they start reception lol

No other symptoms makes me worry.

this is one of my bigist bug bears,it really annoys me that every were you read,it says symptoms mean a healthy pregnancy and its utter tosh,please try and not worry,like you my first pregnancy i had all the symtoms going and with my second pregnancy i had no symptoms at all and then i had a fresh bleed at 7wks to find out i was having twins,then did research and everything i read said i should have had every symptom times a million worse and i had nothing,also had another fresh bleed at 13wks and everything was ok,like you said,your still very early still but try and relax and not worry

symptoms mean nothing,so i wouldnt worry,like the the others have said,your still very early on,my first pregnancy i had every symptom going,my second pregnancy i had no symptoms at all and i had twins and if you read symptoms on twins,i should have had every one and a million times worse and i had nothing,so please dont worry

Twins how common is it that one has gone by next scan..?

i have read that it is very common,cant remeber the figures but it did say a few pregnancies start out as twins and then just becomes a singleton but many people dont have early scans so dont know but babe33 is right,it normally happens before 12wks

twins are a blessing but i wouldnt wish them on anyone,they are such hard work and you said you havent been giving your daughter the attention she deserves,just think how that would be with an extra 2 babies to look after,so breath a sigh of relife lol try and not worry,some people have extreme sysmptoms
