hi Ladies, hope you are ok! No baby yet for me so now officially overdue! Im hoping baby comes by at least the middle of next week as Im really uncomfortable and tired. Feeling abit fed up as it hurts to walk anywhere very far and getting slight cabin fever. My two year old is also playing up a bit, I suspect becuase she is fed up of being stuck in too. Shes off to nursery tomoro and hubby is at home so we agoing out for a rare date to have a hot curry for lunch hope everyone is ok x

Trying to get pregnant after a miscarriage

Posted: 08/04/2013 at 12:03

Hi all, I had a mmc last summer at thirteen weeks so can sympathise. We were told by the hospital that there is no reason not to start trying straight away, other than it might be harder to date a pregnancy as your cycles can be a bit messed up after a mc. We decided to start ttc straight after the mmc as we needed something positive to focus on and were really lucky to fall pregnent again the third cycle after the mmc (baby due april 20).  I was really susprised by this as it had taken eight months to fall pregnant previously. sending everyone big hugs and lots of baby dust xxx

Questions after miscarriage

Hi jillmcp, I also had a mmc last year and found out at my 12 week scan. I didnt have the op, as ended up mc at home a few days after the scan. My first cycle was 30 days long and i dont think i ovulated (i was using ov sticks) and then had a weird light period that lasted nine days. My next cycle was a more normal 28 days and i then had a normal period. I fell pregnant the following cycle and am expecting my baby on the 20th x Hope this gives you some hope and sending lots of baby dust your way.

Cycles after miscarriage?

I had a mmc at 13 weeks last year. I had my first period 30 days after the first day of the main flow of the mc. that period was a bit weird, started off with painful cranping the day before and then it was quite light but lasted for nine days. I dont think i ovulated that cycle (i was using ov sticks). The second cycle was 28 days (my normal length) and I had a fairly normal period. I fell pregnant again that month and am expecting my baby on the 20th this month x we decided to start trying straight away again as it was someting positive for us to think about x Sending lots of baby dust and big hugs

I should be 37weeks

Hi stripeysocks, I remember you for the April forum. Just wanted you give you a big virtual hug xxx I had the same thing last year after my mmc and can totally understand how you are feeling and you will start to feel better once the day has passed. I remember having to sit next to someone at work who was sue not long befpre me and it was so hard watching her get bigger (she didnt know aboutmy mc). Perhaps organise something really nice to do for your original due date (eg a pampering session) that will distract you and keep you busy and perhaps avoid Facebook for a few days, but it is normal to feel sad x Hope you re ok and fingers crossed for a BFP very soon x

Red Raspberry Leaf Tea

ive been drinking it for a couple of weeks ( im 38+2) and it doesnt cause braxton hicks for me. Its not supposed to induce labour but tone the muscles, which may be why some people get the tightenings x

Are we prepared ladies? :-D

Hi Steph1 that episode freaked me out a bit too as DD was back to back but fortunately I maanged to have her naturally with just a small cut. however, it did bring back memories of her head coming out and then being told to push and that it would be the laqst push but nothing happening for about seven pushes in a row! Im really scared that this baby will be bigger and that more intervention will be needed. However, trying to stay positive and listening to my natal hypnotherapy cd and doing lots of bouncing on my gym ball to try to get baby in the right position x

There have been a couple of early BAs on the Facebook group already so was just wondering if any of the other April babies have arrived early yet?

Im 36 +1 today so unikely to pop yet ( hope not as Ive still got a week left at work and would like at least a couple of weeks rest before bubs arrives!).

Anyway good luck to everyone and looking forward to reading some BS!!! xxx
