Oh Mrs D that's fantastic news!! So many congratulations. Sounds as if you're doing amazingly well and how wonderful to have one of each.

Firstly, my apologies for such a late reply - I rarely get near a computer these days (replying now with one thumb on my phone during night feed!). Thank you all so much for your lovely replies. I can hardly believe it but Amelie is 10 weeks tomorrow! The time has just flown but I also can't imagine her not being with us. She really is the most amazing, perky, engaging little girl and we're completely in love with her.

I hope all of you and your little ones are really well and to those still waiting for your little ones to come to you I hope it happens really soon (my song while we were trying and which we played during the birth was just haven't met you yet by Michael Buble and it's so true for those struggling).

A special hello to Smileychops. It was so lovely to see your post. I hope all is well with your little girl now.

What ttips you over the edge?!

We have a gorgeous 3 week old daughter and we're just starting to get used to having no sleep and dealing with the tiredness. DH and I are currently up doing the 4am feed (he's lovely and keeping me company as it's the weekend) and we've been giggling about the small things that threaten to tip us over the edge when we're suffering from no sleep! Mine is the Carex handwash in the bathroom that's nearly run out and just goes phut, phut, phut when you pump it, even though there's still handwash in the bottom! DH's is the repeater thing we have on the upstairs tv which has decided that nowis the time to make the picture flick and make a clicking noise! So, what's the thing that makes you irrationally nuts??

I know many left after the problems with the new website and I must say I don't post much any more but this site and you ladies were such a huge support to me over the years that I had to share our news. Our little girl Amelie Rose was born at 6lbs 9ozs on Sun 13th Feb. We are totally besotted and in love! Birth wasn't entirely straight forward but I'm recovering well and honestly couldn't be happier.

I hope all us well with all of you.

Lots of love

What's the best price you've found for the iCandy Peach?

We paid ??780 for the stroller, carry cot, foot muff, cup holder, parasol and adapters for our car seat. As far as I've seen it's difficult to get a discount but you can get extras thrown in if you haggle! Had ours delivered (free!) last week and just waiting to use it now. In practice runs it's proved very easy to use and collapse with one hand, so hoping we love it just as much when bubs arrives.

disgusted with BE

I totally agree. I popped on today and realised that my username had actually been changed to my password! My name wasn't displayed, but if anyone had figured it out they would have had access to my home address, e-mails address, DoB, etc. Terrible. I feel dreadful for those whose names have been published as well and linked back to YAYW profiles.

My DH knows a fair bit about these things and tells me that BE have contravened the Data Protection Act by disclosing personal details and using details for a purpose other than the one they said they would. I really think BE need to do something sharpish because otherwise they could be landed with a very hefty fine.

Oh Luckystar - I've been waiting for this BA. Been thinking of you lots and so, so pleased that all went well and you have a gorgeous little family. Couldn't be happier for you, many congratulations.
