back to back baby

Posted: 28/11/2011 at 14:46
Hi,
My baby, also born in April this year turned b2b during labour after being in the perfect position throughout my pregnancy! It was a long labour as I was dilating very slowly, due to my daughters position, I also felt pressure very early on and literally couldn't stop my body pushing at only 5 cm's. I opted for an epidural in the end as was exhausted and this was the best desision I ever made! I ended up with an episiotomy and forceps delivery and as much as this sounds horrific and I hope I haven't frightened you, it was actually well worth it once she was born! I'd go through it all again and can't wait to have another baby! Xx

Experiences of induction (also in labour and birth)

Hi there, sorry to G/C. I'm currently 41+2, and I'm being induced on Saturday if baby hasn't made an appearance by then. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience of induction, good/bad that they would be willing to share? I'm quite scared that it will fail and I'll end up with a c section! So just after other peoples experiences for reassurance and for preparation! Thank you xxxxxxx

G/C but I learnt about nutrition at uni, and apparently these ready prepared fruit smoothies contain a lot of natural sugars due to the process in which they're prepared. It's a lot better if you prepare your own and drink them straight away. Although that's prob too tine consuming with a baby. Xx

Have you claimed the Health in Pregnancy Grant?

Posted: 25/01/2011 at 12:35
I had to show my midwife an email forwarded to me from one of the other girls from hmrc stating that 25 weeks was in fact 24 weeks +1-6 days, otherwise she wasn't going to give me the form. I'm glad I stood my ground as I was entitled to it as the money went into my account with no issues. I wonder how many women at my midwife clinic missed out due to our midwives being given wrong info! Xx

I would say girl but apparently all "nubs" are Girly until you actually are 12 weeks so there is still time for it to point up and be a boy nub so it's prob 50/50 still sorry xx
