That's great news! Congratulations! I just wanted to let you know that I had a miscarriage but then went on to have a good pregnancy and a healthy baby boy. I know how worried you will feel those first few weeks. I had an early scan to help put my mind at ease, so if you do get a bit stressed about it then might be worth asking for this XX

You are so right Shelley!!! Last month I had a phantom pregnancy. I had all the signs even really bad nausea. I'm determined this month not to go there (easier said than done I know!!) but it was so disappointing as I was so convinced. Amazing what your boday can or can't feel when your mind wants something so much. Let's just hope that when we are in labour our minds can convince our bodies that it's actually painless!

caffeine/alcohol?

Hi

I'm just interested to know if while TTC you have cut down or cut out caffeine and/or alcohol? I have cut down on both and while going thru ovulation & the 2ww I have totally cut out alcohol and watched my caffeine intake but during my AF I have had a few drinks. I just wondered what you ladies were doing?

Hi girls

We are TTC number 4 ! I love being a mum and am just as excited to be trying for a fourth as I was with my others. Because I am lucky to already have 3, if I don't get pregnant then I won't be going off to the doctors, instead I will leave it at that. Although now I have it in my head there could be another little one I am very excited for this to happen! We are only in month 2 of TTC. I used OPK's last month but won't this month as we are going on holiday and want to go with the flow! Still got AF so I won't be testing til the end of the month.

Well, I'm out. AF arrived today. On the positive side of things: I can have a large glass of wine tonight & it came 2 days early so no agonising wait.

I really feel for you. It's very difficult to know what to do. My first pregnancy ended in MC. It made me rethink everything and I gave up my job and retrained. I signed up on a 9 month college course and was so excited and so pre-occupied getting ready for the course that it came as quite a shock (good shock tho!!) to find myself pregnant just after starting the course! We hadn't been 'trying'. I managed to complete the course so ended up with a baby and a new career!!

It took me 9 months to conceive the next time because I was underweight. I'd had some stress in my life & had lost weight, as soon as I got up to my usual weight I got pregnant.

I really wish you every luck with this. Sorry I can't really give you an answer. Keeping my FC & hoping to bump into you around this forum! X
