im at my wits end with my 2 year old son...
he eats perfectly well during the day... ie.. cereal/toast... fruit... sandwiches... etc....
but when it comes to dinner he will only have tinned food!!!... he refuses to eat veg (even if i hide it).. or anything else i make him.
gets very frustrating that i take the time to prepare good food for him and he wont even put it to his mouth?
would i be cruel to give it to him for breckfast next day etc.. until he eats it.
im sick of wasting perfectly good food and it all costs money which we just dont have to throw away...
ive tired sticking to it and he's not eaten now since yesterday lunch (which is making me feel just awful)...
will he give in and eat it? what do i do?
i dont want to give him an eating disorder...!... ive not given him any biscuits... or goodies since he's not eaten it...
i just really cant have him eating this tinned crap anymore (and its expensive too)!
please help anyone!
thanks
also!... should the rest of the family eat these treats in front of him (ie. biscuits) and still refuse him and explain its because he's not eaten his dinner?....
this seems cruel but dont you have to be cruel to be kind??....
im very upset about it all ...
