Little Monkey!

I can't believe how naughty Josh is! I have been trying to get him to take lumps and eat finger foods, mainly bread and cheese. Each time he gags and is sick and refuses so I just start from scratch and build up again. Today my mum came over and sneakily gave him some of her chocolate cookie. He ate it all without gagging once. The little Monkey!! lol

Funny Comments In Labour!

These stories are so funny lol

With my little girl I had a lot of pethadine and G&A and was not with it at all. I am a nurse and decided I knew better then the Midwives and was trying to tell them what to do. As if I know like I said a nurse not a midwife. I think I was just making things up as I went along!

With my son I had no pain relief so I don't know why I was so mad. I was induced and went from 1 to 10cm in half an hour. It was so painful but the midwife didn't want to examine me because it hadn't been that long and I couldn't possibly be much futher along. My Mum just thought I was a wimp so I started shouting for an epidural while crying that I was so embarassed that I was like the ginger girl on one born every minute. When the epidural came I was pushing and the midwife was shocked to say the least haha

I always said my worst nightmare would be pooing myself during labour and it happened with my son with 2 student doctors sat at the bottom of the bed watching. To my horror looking back though I actually found it funny and told the whole room that I was going to tell all my friends. How how embarassing!!!!!!! Needless to say I haven't told anyone. Accept you lot now haha

Love/Hate relationship ....

Hello

I have only recently got the internet again and wondered where you were. I have read your post but haven't got time to read through the whole thread so sorry if I repeat etc

I just want to say that you certainly aren't a bad mother. Every baby is different and you have to let your baby lead you. My little girl was brilliant with weaning. She more or less went straight onto lumps. Josh is a different story all together. He is still on dried foods. He is only just starting to eat what I make for him but he still gags and is sometimes sick. I can't get him to take lumps at all. He doesn't have much milk or fluids for that matter. Nightmare lol The thing is you can see he is happy and growing well and that is all that matters. When I once worried about something someone gave me an answer that has always stuck with me and made me feel better. I will use you as an example. You baby is still on jars. You are worried about it but at the end of the day he will get there. You don't see adults eating baby jar food lol I thought it was brilliant and so true.

As for breastfeeding that is a very personal choice and nobody should judge. That just really annoys me. I breastfed Emilia but josh was having none of it.

Hope you are ok and don't leave

Take care

I can't help you I'm affraid because I am exactly the same!! I can't go anywhere without looking in the baby sections and since having Emilia 2 years ago I must have bought so much stuff that we didn't even need. Its even worse now I have two children lol XX Good luck

Hormones?

Hormones are rubbish. I still cry all the time too lol Just looking at my children makes me cry and then I cry more when I realise how big they are getting and that I can't have anymore Oh well X

If I could turn back time..

I feel the same. I really thought I would never want anymore after being so ill throughout both of my pregnancies. Now, however its all I can think about. It won't be happening for though because as you know my husband walked out when I was 30 weeks pregnant with Josh. I don't think I could ever trust anyone else enough to have a baby with them. Just hope over time this broody feeling will go XXX

Feel really sad :(

You are most definately not pathetic. I feel the same about most of children. I sometimes just walk back and forth between their rooms looking at them I can't believe I won't be having anymore children. That fact makes it even harder when Josh keeps getting bigger. Your little one is gorgeous!! What is the meet up thing? I have been away for a while. XXX
