BOO!!

Hiya, its crazy that our junies are nearly three isn't it! Zac's very excited about his birthday this sunday and keeps holding up three fingers saying 'i'll be free.... thats alot'!

Wow at the midwifery training... I bet its soo interesting. I'd love to do it one day. Did look into the course a year or so ago. Applied and got an interview but decided that the time wasn't right. My nearest uni is an hour and half away (at least) and we just can't afford to loose my wage right now. Think I'll def look into it again whne we've finished adding to our little family (ttc no 2 at the mo)!

Take Care

Hiya

Zac was born 26th. We're still no further forward with potty training but when I mentioned it to to our HV at his (rather late!) 2.5 yr check up last week and she wasn't too concerned.

We started our ttc with avengance a couple of weeks ago then went off the boil a bit, think we may have bodged this month up but I'm trying not to stress too much... it will happen when it happens I guess! If AF is gonna show it'll be next week I'd imagine, if she's not here by Zac's bday I'll test - but not expecting to need to do that!

Hello Everyone, not sure if anyone remembers me as its been that long since I posted on here but thought I'd drop in and say hi!

Hope all junies (junnie siblings) and mummies are doing well. My junnie, Zac, is full of beans as usual, still not tackled the dreaded potty but he was a late developer at most things which involved physical effort on his part (ie crawling, walking etc) so I'm trying not to worry just yet!

Also, I'm finally ready to take the plunge and have just come off the pill ready to ttc no 2! Just waiting for my first normal AF to put in an appearence then we're all set! I fell quickly with Zac so really hope all works as well this time around although I'm realistic and know that it might not be as easy this time (esp with a toddler around this time!)..

Anyway hello and how are you all?!?!?

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you all for your comments.

I guess its hardest to take on the days when I've been at work and daddy's been the one at home, he still favours daddy. But we have fun when its just us two so guess I need to just try and ignore it and enjoy the time we do have.... maybe he will grow out of it - if not the I guess I just need to hope that when we get round to no2, that one is a MUMMYS boy/girl! lol

Ok, I'll try and keep this brief, I don't post on here much but I could really do with some advice.

My lo is almost two and has always been a daddys boy but just lately its getting really difficult. When its just me and him he's fine but as soon as daddy is home he doesn't want to know me. At first it was kind of sweet (ah he loves his daddy) but its got to the point now where he crys hysterically if his daddy leaves the room or if I attempt to do anything for him (ie take shoes off, take him for a bath)... if I'm the only option its fine but as I say as soon as he knows daddys home i may as well be a stranger.

I've ignored it as best i can and thought its just a phase, nothing personal etc but its really getting to me now and last night I just burst in to tears over it all... I know it sounds stupid but it feels like he hates me sometimes...

I work p/t and on one of my works days he goes to my mum and dad and they say he favours my dad over my mum, so is he just a mans man!? Tonight when my dad brought him home, he seemed happy to see me (dh was still at work) and even offered me a cuddle (very unusual)... but then daddy came home and I later took him up for a bath and he just stood at the top of the stairs crying for daddy!

Am I really that awful! I feel so alone as most boys are mummys boys! I don't feel I can talk to anyone about it as its like admitting my own son doesnt love me.. that probably sounds stupid but its how I feel!

Why is he like this, what can I do?

Not really thought about it yet tbh... I bought a cheap potty in tesco one day just to get Zac used to what a potty was etc but so far he points and says 'potty' but won't sit on it!

If Tyler seems ready then why not give it a whirl, trust your instincts hun!

Thanks Tammi, will def give asda a try!

Don't feel bad Tracey, Caitlin won't care 'how much' you spend, quite often Zac ignores his more expensive toys in favour of a happy meal toy!!
