Babaslings?

Posted: 25/01/2010 at 19:23
Hi welshka,

I bought one with my last baby & found it really good. She was really comfortable in it & still is now at 11 months. I found it really easy to use too & my youngest always felt very secure in it. I had a babybjorn one in the past & found it too fiddly but the babasling is great especially when I'm running in to lift my eldest from preschool as my hands are free to keep a good hold off dd2 xx

Worried now ! Have I damaged her development ?

Firstly hun please dont worry. Those lists should be banished!!!!

My 3 have all hit different goalposts at different times. My eldest never crawled but was a great wee talker, my 2nd was on her feet early but was a slow talker & my 3rd chatters away but was very slow to sit up & at 11 months still isnt pulling herself up completely though you would do well keeping up with her crawling. They are all different & in my opinion all those lists do is cause mums undue stress & worry. It sounds lie your lo is doing just fine so try not to worry & enjoy her. She'll be having you pulling your hair out in no time xxx

Did any of you use RASPBERRY LEAF TEA/TABLETS?

I dont think they helped me to go into labour but I think they certainly helped me a quicker labours. I took the tablets from 34 weeks

Child Swine Flu Jag

Posted: 20/01/2010 at 09:48
Hi,

I took the 3 girls for theirs just before xmas. The older 2 (4&2) were fine & had no side effects whatsoever & the youngest who was 10 months at the time had some minor flu symptoms about 5 days after the jab but nothing that wasnt easily controlled by a dose of calpol. I'm glad to have mine vaccinated against it

is anyone an usborne books organiser??

Posted: 10/10/2009 at 18:37
Hi hun,

Its 100% genuine & its a great job. I'm an Team Leader with Usborne & have been doing it for about 18 months now. Last year I managed to pay for our family xmas with my Usborne earnings & plan to do the same this year hopefully with some left over.

If you have signed up through someone then that person will become your upline & will be there to help & guide you. If you havent signed up under anyone in particular then you will be allocated to someones team & they will become your upline.

In the meantime if you have any questions feel free to ask

C Sections - how long to recover.

Posted: 22/09/2009 at 12:02
Hi hun,

I was surprised at how soon I was up on my feet after my section & felt almost normal after 2 weeks though was still bleeding when I overdone things like you say.

My back would have been a bit sore at times for a couple of months but again I thought that was probably coz I was overdoing things a bit.

Madison is 7 months now & my scar is still a bit tender from time to time but on a whole I feel about as normal as you can as a mum!!! lol

Good luck xx

I agree Hayley. I liked Katie too & think it was shame that she felt she had to leave BE. I hope she is having a lovely honeymoon & if anyone is talking to her I would love them to let her know that we are thinking of her.
