My little boy is 4 months and has been showing signs that he is  hungry and some other mums that I know said they also though he was ready for food.

I have statred weaning him and he LOVES it. Yesterday (day 4 of weaning) He had 3 lots of baby food - is that OK? can anybody give me an idea how much he should have in one sitting? I am still BF him and he has always been a good weight.

I would stick only with baby rice for the time being, and only give a few baby spoonfuls at a time. Baby should turn his head when he has had enough. With my DD I did one 'meal' a day for one week, then added a second and then a third. I was told by my GP to wean due to my DD not gaining weight and this is what she recomended x

my little girls 2 months next week and ive started giving her a small spoonfull of baby rice either in the evening or in the morning due to her demolishing her 6oz bottles every 2/3 hours and shes still hungry after, i dont know what to do as i dont want her starving and giving her a small spoon of baby rice seems to satisfy her and it makes her happy.
