Hoping someone can give their opinions to me...
One of my twins is fine and the other has been coughing for a godd 2-3 wks now. During the last week at has got a lot worse, and when she has coughing fits they last quite a while, she goes red/purple & struggles for breath. If she's recently fed then she brings up the whole feed. If she hasnt fed for hours, she will still have bad coughing fits.

They are 9 wks old now and Martha was the bigger baby but her twin has overtaken her now due to this.

No signs of a temperature or being particularly unwell, apart from a lot of crying (but they both do cry alot!).

Do you think its some type of very bad cough, or reflux? I know the symptoms could match reflux, but she fed fine up until 3 wks ago with no probs whatsoever.

HI ONE OF MY TWINS HAD SOMETHING SIMILIAR TO THIS.BUT HE WAS ONLY HALF COUGHING,IT WAS LIKE HE COULDNT PYSICALLY CARRY OUT A FULL COUGH.HE USED TO THROW HIS FEEDS BACK UP,I TOOK HIM TO THE DOCTORS AND THEY SAID BECAUSE BECAUSE HE WASNT FULLY CARRYING OUT HIS COUGHS HE HAD MUCUS SAT ON HIS CHEST,AND HIS FEEDING WOULDNT GET BETTER UNTIL HE DID IT PROPERLY.THIS DIDNT HAPPEN UNTIL HE COULD SIT UP,BUT BY GOD IS HE MAKING UP FOR LOST TIME WITH HIS FOOD LOL DONT KNOW IF THAT HELPS,BUT I WOULD SAY IF YOUR WORRIED GET THE DOCTORS TO CHECK IT OUT XXX
