Does anyone else have this problem i went to tesco the other day with the twins and toddler, they have loads of disabled spaces and bout 10 p & C spaces, i drove around for ages and then to my horror old people are getting out of v small car in p & c space, so i pull over checl no child (there wasn't) and asked them to move as p & c space was told NO as they are disabled politely informed them that they could park in disbaled space and not there, refused!!!

I was sooooooo angry.

if they can park in our spaces can we park in theirs????

Dont get me on this subject or for that matter my husband. I dread going to our retail park in Inverness as hubby is always on a misson to moan at someone for parking in mother and baby space when they shouldn't. Also why is it that disabled are always right by the store, and M&B can be a short distance away. What about mothers who have a 1 year old and are pregnant with twins shouldnt they be given priorty. Especially if you are shopping on your own and need to return the trolley hence leaving small babies in the car!?!?!?! totally agree with you. And what about people who park in M&B with older children who are completely capable of walking.

I so agree. I have 3 under 18 months and it drives me mad, esp if the p & b spaces are miles away from the trolley park.

Regards the disabled in a p & b spaces, my friends hubby, who has always been a lose cannon, ask a disabled couple to move from p n b space to disabled (which incidently were all empty and closer to the store!) and they wouldnt so he parked his range rover across the space, blocking them in and went and did his shopping. The disabled driver cldnt believe it and called the police, who thankfully were very reasonable, and basically said the disabled drivers should have parked in the empty disabled ones, hopefully it will stop them from doing it again.

My fil is disabled so i have no time for abled people who park in disabled spaces, but equally no time for disabled people who park in p n b. supermarkets cant actually fine you for parking in disabled spaces, and i parked in them when i was really heavily pregnant with the twins as I simply cldnt get out of the car in a normal space as there wasnt enough room to open the door wide enough.
