Just a quick update - I had my 12 week scan and all was great!  Can't quite believe this is actually happening.  After 2years and 4 mcs we're having a baby!!  Very very excited and keep pinching myself.

Feel brave enough to join the due in November forum - didn't want to tempt fate before.

Good luck to everyone - it really can happen, despite the heartache and emotional turmoil.

It looks like I'm going to be rejoining you lovely ladies here started bleeding again, it's following the same pattern as the previous 2 m/c. gutted. going to epu in the morning, will let you know how it goes, but really I know I'm just going so they can tell me the worst, maybe I can get a medical referral to see if they can find a cause

Kittlelitten - Oh my - how are you sweetie? What ahppened? I am really keeping everything crossed this was just a bleed for another reason and isn't what you fear. Don't forget other ladies have had bleeds and thought it was over and it was fine. I am so hoping you and the little bean are ok. Do let us know how you are - am thinking of you.

They scanned and confirmed I have had another miscarriage. I knew that would be the case but still felt like my heart was being ripped out

As that's 3 miscarriages in a row now I've been referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic, have no idea if they'll find an answer but at least it feels like we're doing something. Does anyone know how long these referrals take to come through? Guess it probably depends on area.

KIttle litten - am so so sorry to hear this news. Am sending you love and hugs to you and DH. Take good care of yourselves and take time to grieve for your little bean.

In terms of referrrals it really depends - I had to wait a few weeks for a hospital near to me, but St Mary's recurrent miscarriage clinic on the NHS is about 12 weeks. As you say, it might be that they don't find anything (and you should be prepared for that) and in some respects although very very frustrating, it is good news. Howver, it is possible that something may be found and at least then you know. I guess either way, you will be better inforrmed.

Proudmummy - how are you huni? It must be awful not knowing where you are. Is it possible to get some beta hcgs done at your doctor or your local early pregnancy unit to check whether the numbers are going up or down? the bleeding could be for other reasons other than a mc.

Speccles - woop woop (on both fronts)!! How exciting - what symptoms do you have this month so far? Am keeping everything crossed for you.

well at ovulation i had strong cramps from about 6 dpo i had cramping on a night, 8dpo ive had increased cm, two tiny specs of blood when i wiped, when i got the second one i used a tampon as thought my af might be showing early and it was completely clear!!!!  i have had twinges of backache, gassy, and a few dizzy spells and starving hungry.  also last night i saved my slimming workd syns fora curly wurly and tasted all stale and cardboardy, diet coke tasting funny the other day.  oh and i normally only hgave a wee once during the day at owork - i'm just off for my fourth visit today!!!

the biggest thing is that i'm just aware of my bits all the time.  i just keep getting twinges and feelings in my groin and the surrounding area on and off throughout the day.

get paid tomorrow so think i'm going to splash out on a 2 pack of first response tests and see how i get on.....will keep you posted xxx

Speccles - wow that is a huge bunch of symptoms girly!!  If you don't get a BFP I will be most surprised.....I have seen othe rladies complain of what you describe. Ooooh am so excited. We need a BFP.......

Jay - are you sure that's AF coming and not implantation? Testing on sunday may well have been too early in any case.

Proudmummy - absolutley there is next month - if you have had a chemical and this isn't a BFP wiht some bleeding. I really think you ought to go get checked out so you know one way or another. Sending you big hugs (((  ))).
