trying to conceive your 2nd baby. My lo is now 4 months old and ive always wanted them close together but my partner wanted to wait a few years first, which i agreed with. Hes now decided to change his mind and says we can start trying as soon as i want to. Now i dont know what to do.

its a tough one hayley as it is such and individual choice! my daughter is nearly 6 years old and we are just starting to ttc. i never felt broody for ages and all of a sudden have this overwhelming urge to have a 2nd baby. i think you and your partner need to sit down and discuss how it will impact on your life and what support networks you have in place to help you both out. other than that good luck for when you do decide to ttc number 2

Hi hayley, my lo has just turned two but I know quite a few people who have had theirs close together and say it worked really well, I think there are pros and cons either way but on the plus side I believe it gives your lo less time to get clingy cause mine is a real mummy's boy and I'm already worried he's gonna get jelous. If thats what you always wanted to do and your partner is fine with it I'd say go for it. Amy x
