Hi, I'm about to start using CB Digi OPK sticks for the first time this week. They say you shouldn't go for a wee for at least 4 hours beforehand - would approx 3 hours be ok? I want to use them in the afternoon as I believe this is the best time for surge detection, but even if I used in the morning I'd struggle to go 4 hours without the loo as I'm up in the night lol! Any experiences of using them before 4 hours much appreciated - or I might just have to burst!

Hi, didn't want to read and run. This forum doesn't seem to be as busy as it used to be so try posting your question in pregnancy? Hope you get the advice needed and that you won't have to wait 4 hours for a wee!! I certainly couldn't go that long xx

I have just finished using them for the 1st month and I tested during the evening. I tested between 7 and 9 - the times got slowly earlier (which I guessed would be ok as not going over 24hours). Sometimes I didn't quite get to 4 hours but as long as you've not drank lots of fluid earlier I found it fine. Although I was closer to 4 hours than 3 hours. Hope that helps!

Thanks calico, I had a "practice run" today and didn't drink too much and just about made it to 4 hours so I'll just see how it goes! xx
