Ok ladies, this is going to be the month! Feeling all refreshed and ready to go. Got a whole new positive outlook on life and everything, and no pressure from CBFMs or temps or anything, just enjoying being with DH and looking forward to things. Who's with me??

yey, welcome ladies! I'm just not going to get stressed about it at all (famous last words) but we're putting the house on the market so it's giving me something else to think about rather than ttc. and hopefully, cos i'm not stressing about it, it will be more natural and more likely to happen

Rose bud, i feel soooo much better for not thinking that i need to take my temp in the middle of the night and when i need to nip to loo or not - it feels good doesn't it?!

Steph, that's proper lucky timing. af was with me on valentine's day so i've got til next weekend i think before ov, and weekends are a great time to get BDing

sophie, don't stress. i was and it really was getting me down soooo bad that BDing happened less than normal rather than more. I'm hoping that the more relaxed approach will have the effects that everyone keeps talking about.

carioke, I know that you're feeling down at the mo, but it will pass. you're like me and get really upset when af arrives and wonder what you're doing it for, but then convince yourself in the next couple of days that this time will be different (maybe that's what i'm doing now?). But you know that we are here when you feel glum - and we're not going to cos this is a lovely thread that will keep us all motivated

Sending you all my best baby dust and FC for us all

xx

I'm with you too ladies! AF arrived Sat so got a while before OV but just going to try not to stress - POAS far too many times last month and constantly symptom spotted, not even going to think about it unless AF hasn't come by CD32 (cycles are still a bit all over the place but was 31 days last time). Have worked out that OV is when DH is on lates though so will have to make sure he wakes me up when he comes in but other than that, going to TRY and relax lol!

good for you Katrob, I hope it works!I'm going to try my hardest not to check dates, use OV sticks and symptom spot as I found it all so draining last month. Also I've deleted my tracker because each month is different so couldn't see the point having it. The one thing I can't escape from though is sore BB'S!
FC for us all xx

I'm with you!!! AF will turn up today I think (got BFN on Monday so she's on her way!). I was feeling really down as I was putting myself under too much pressure due to timescales and planning to much (my DS starts nursery in sept and I had planned to leave work and be a stay at home mummy to baby no2 and so I would be able to take my son to nursery n not have to stress about sorting childcare and plus I really, really want to be able to take him and pick him up instead of leaving him at 7:20am till 6pm) so I wanted to be pregnant before I handed my notice in (have to hand it in at the end of may to leave in the summer as I'm a teacher).

The time limit of being preg by May is too much to live up to and making me so much more stressed. So had a good talk with hubby and going to leave whether I'm pregnant or not, to be around more for my Son and a baby will come along when it comes along. I feel so much more positive now..hoping that helps the TTC...FC!!

Hi mrscoxuk,I also work with children (pre-school) and my plan was to go on maternity leave in july when we break up. That plan is out of the window, my problem is if we are to extend our afternoon sessions they'll automatically put me in charge to do them.(I haven't told anyone we're even trying!!)How about you? no AF yet?

Being a working mother is such hard work Carioke, trying to juggle everything. Maybe even if u told work u were TTC they would maybe rethink they're plans for u?

No AF yet (due 2mro) but the signs are all there...she's on her way. Better luck for both of us next cycle xx

Hey everyone, I was having a funny 5 and was thinking gosh babyexpert is quiet but forgot new forums come up and had forgot to subscribe to them! So I am glad I have found you all! well after last month of stressing about ttc and having alot on our plate with money and a car that needs tonnes of work doing and it isn't work the money and moving house and a funeral, I have chilled out massively. I do have a little concern that it has not happened for us yet but we have had so much on I would not be surprised if stress has played a role in that. We have moved house and it is a better area and we have been very much having fun and bding more naturally and not just when it is the 'right' time!
The other type of ov tracking I have done is with an iphone ap and that is not exact, according to that it was this Monday so fc. Here's to a more chilled out few months and maybe that will be the key.
Love Jo x

Hi Joey 139, glad you found us all!! sounds like you've been busy; hope you're all nice and settled in your new house. glad you are more chilled out with the whole ttc lark. I just wanted to be pg this side of 40! (still feel 20) also didn't want another baby near to xmas (DS bday is dec 23rd) but I suppose what will be will be!!!
FC for a chilled out month and no stressing!!

I'm really hoping that i'm not entering a stressful time. putting the house on the market this week - it's getting valued tomorrow! I don't think i'll stress cos i was the pool calm all through planning for the wedding - so much so that people couldn't believe it when i told them the wedding was in august, with just weeks to go. things are only stressful if you let them so i'm not going to let it get like that. still feeling sooo positive, hope it keeps up! I'm also a teacher and being observed by the head tomorrow, so got that to occupy my mind for a bit. FC for you all, xx

Hi ladies, well turns out it was the month! What I thought was AF on 18 Feb was infact beginning of miscarriage (after bleeding on and off for 12 days I took a test as thought it was weird and got a BFP).

Early scan showed I was having a miscarriage and bleeding has just stopped today Its been very emotional and painful and I really hope it never happens to me again. I suppose the good news is that they did an internal scan too and said my ovaries looked fine (I had been worried about PCOS) and I guess it shows I can get pregnant, just need the next one to stick.

How is everyone else doing? I am hoping I will be one of the lucky ones who gets pg straight after mc. How is your house selling going Katrob? xx
